Day 10 part 2 & day 11 Then we went the new central plaza, for a bit of Thai food in the food market on the ground floor, which was rubbish, I could have had better from a street hawker, or made it myself better. Went to Mike’s shopping Mall, then to the Royal Garden Plaza, Where I got Sem a pair of high heal to go with the dress I got her, and it was a bargain at 400 baht. I would rather shop in the market, but I found there is a lot of bargains to be had now, with 40-60% discounts.
All this took the whole day, the sun was going down, and we are back at the hotel, finding my new jeans waiting for me. Of course I paid the maid the next day for doing that, but it was nice of them to want to do it free. So I showered and changed, and headed out, leaving Sem in the loom.
The party was at La Bamba, which was hosted by the generous Tony (thegame925) and around 8pm I parked the bike outside it, and as usual was the first one in, and was greeted by Masha, who was doing cashier as usual. I pulled her about the carry on the last night I was in with
Kate and
Sony, and told her I wasn’t putting up with any of that shit, and when I came in with LB friends, they were to be treated with the utmost respect. She totally agreed and although she was inside doing cashier at the time of the incident, she heard about it later, and thought it was a bit underhanded, and chewed some of them out about it. At this time I was reluctant to ring the bell because of it, and only bought Masha a couple of drinks.
Then the lads started to pile in, beginning with
Kim, who I had a more sober conversation with this time. Amongst others my mate Jimslim (soleboy), and his mate Paul, then Rossco came in, who is a very nice gentleman, with his head screwed on the right way, with plenty of knowledge of the ins and outs of Pattaya, and I had a couple of intelligent conversations with him through-out the evening.
Then the bell of the ball, ‘thegame925’ came in, and introduced himself right away. A very intelligent at 78, but looked 60, a man that knows the value of life. He told me a condensed version of his life story, which I was fascinated by, as the man had gone through several very bad experiences in the past, but against the odds picked himself up and soldiered on regardless. And although I had started drinking earlier, he generously whispered in my ear, “What ever is in your bin, belongs to me, and don’t hold back Paul because of it, enjoy yourself”. And gave instructions to Masha that he was paying for what was on the bar. So I must thank ‘thegame925’ for his generosity that night.
Rossco then organized a shit load of pizzas for everyone, as per instructions from thegame, as Rossco was playing the accountant for him for the evening, and sorted everything out when they left later in the evening. When it was time for thegame925, and Rossco to leave, they took every bill from every bin on the bar, and shuffled them into one big pile, which took Masha a bit of time to tally up, and thegame paid for the lot. Now I was able to spend some money, and quickly got a round in at the bar.
Aussieguy and I had a good laugh at the bar, wile he was eyeing up one of the floozies of the bar, and Lee came in after her second off, and then walked out again on her third off. Aussieguy and I decided to head up to EZY, but first he had to do something with one of the girl upstairs first, and ask me to wait for him. That man just can’t keep his dick in his pants. So off he trots upstairs with his floozie, leaving me at the bar where Masha took the opportunity to say, “Paul I like you ……. I want to go with you!” I told her I had a lady in my loom, but to convince me even further, she dove from behind the bar, parked her ass on the stool next to me, and shoved her tongue down my throat, which put me in a dilemma, thinking how can I just turn up in the loom with Masha a stranger, and Sem laying there, as it was better that Sem was involved in the selection right from the start.
Besides that, for some reason I was attracted to Masha, but under the circumstances I declined her offer. One thing I noticed about Masha, you don’t get many photos of her in the forums, well not as much as the rest of the girls. And that night I noticed her, shying away in the background, or walking out of the frame, when the photos were taken that night, which I thought was very strange. Anyway Aussieguy was still up there, and ‘email’ and his girl kept me in good company until he was done. Email was another very nice guy from Belgium, and I didn’t realize his girl was from Pook’s Soi 6, until she said that
Sony was waiting for me to come back, and that
Sony misses me.
Aussie surfaced with a load off his mind by the looks of things, so we paid up and bid farewell to all, and jump on the bike up the beach road. I parked the bike just outside the walking street sign, by a group of motorcycle taxi guys, and gave one of them 50 baht to keep an eye on it. But I found out later, there was a parking place for bikes at the back of EZY, coming from the second road, which costs 20 baht to look after. Walked into a busy EZY bar, where Karl greeted me with a big hug. Took Tata out side for a little chat over a private matter, then went in and joined the rest of the motley crew inside.
Aussie, Karl, Belfast Paul, and I with a couple of others (sorry I forgot the names), all had a nice drink and a bit of crack. I was starting to get a buzz on, when I remember Aussie and me singing ‘Beds are burning’, and eventually the lads faded away one by one, leaving just Karl and myself manning the bar. And we both continued to have a heavy session well into daylight, with Karl showing me that trick with heating up the glass.
We both had a great long chat about almost everything, and brought up the subject of the party the again the generous ‘thegame’ was hosting 4 days later. So we both decided to chip-in for the food at least, to show some appreciation for his generosity for that night in La Bamba. We both sat there drinking till 11am, when I thought it was best to let Karl go and get some sleep, but I was still not quite done yet. So I asked Karl where was a handy bar that was still opened, which he informed me about one in the Arab section. So I left for that, followed by the cashier on a bike, “Where you want to go Paul….. hotel or bar?......... Karl say I must make sure you get there safely!” So I told her a bar would be handy, so she dropped me off at the bar in the Arab section, which I didn’t mind as I could practice my Arabic, over a few more beers.
