I've just planned my next trip based on tdpd61's advice .

I'm going for 1 week this time instead of the usual three so I can pay the ladys what they deserve .
Of course this means two weeks less ; hotel booking , taxis , baht buses , resturant meals , shopping , bar fines , Lady drinks , drinks for me etc .
If this trend continues of course there will have to be some downsizing of the economy which means some closures of hotels , bars , resturants etc
Some girls may even have to find a new career but as long as some of the little darlings get what they deserve its alright . :wink:

Maybe I will just stay home and find a meat puppet instead .

Well, I'm with JoJo on this one. Certainly Jim can offer the girls his opinion of the price he thinks they are capable of asking, and sometimes obtaining . But, I don't believe he would, nor is he in any position to, guarantee them any LT or ST price with customers.

Oh golly gosh , I wish people would read posts properly rather than skimming through for the juicy bits
I explicitly wrote it so it would not look like Jim was at fault but rather an LB taking me as a complete greenhorn unaware of the normal costs of LT/ST.

I'm sorry if you interpreted it that way, but in my post, I do not believe that I in anyway implied that you did believe Jim had made this ridiculous guarantee. If you chose to mistakenly infer that from what I said, that would be your error, not mine. :?

I have to seriously disagree with this. You don't want Emma gunning for you next trip to Phuket. That's the last thing you want. These girls can be viscous - you'd much rather her talking you up to the other girls than talking you down.

No, I don't know Emma and no, I haven't been to Phuket, but I do know a lot about angry bargirls for some strange reason

Just a small note about this year's Nobel peace prize winner. I understand your reasoning, but how does paying them 3 times the going rate help their emotional scaring? I would argue that it actually makes it worse. They view themselves solely as prize pieces of meat to the high bidders and not as normal hookers - they end up thinking their shit don't stink and they don't have to "work" for the money - it just gets thrown at them. Makes them not value money and eventually they will be older and SOL.

This thread seems to evolve daily. I'm a huge fan of Patong, and my last trip only confirmed my choice. I enjoy having a motorbike to explore the island or take a ladyboy to the beach, which the others destinations don't really offer. I also love the sheer density of ladyboys in such a small area of Patong. I never really notice the difference in prices between BKK and Phuket except for accomadation. Seems like I just have to work harder at finding bargains, but eventually do.

My last trip was my best yet and first since being on a forum. I joined this forum while I was there. I enjoy meeting like minded hunters from around the world, makes for some interesting nights with the third gender.

I agree with you BH, about Pentire's comment. Phuket hardly get a mention? FFS, the place is teeming with LBs, why would it not get a mention?

Jimbo has definitely spearheaded the promotional effort. However he has had plenty of support by several BM's who have made the journey to Patong and reported back on its many treasures. The C&D thread has not only inspired new customers but it has also drawn old ones back.
Personally I was sold before I even knew about a forum. I enjoy reading and posting about the great ladyboy destination of Patong/Phuket and have an opportunity to learn more about its happenings inbetween trips.
I think we all appreciate Jimbo's perspective as a ladyboy monger like us telling us like it is. Its not all about C&D's with him, its about selling Phuket as a whole. He has done a great job and places like Tequila Bar which he frequents should never allow him to pay for a drink. He is probably their best customers if you think about it.

We also have t o look at Patong itself. Ladyboys have now infiltrated GG bars. they are more prevalent everwhere, whether its bars, resteruants or just out in public. That goes far beyond this site or any thread. The sites are just recognising this now in some fantastics threads and Trip reports.
