Unfortunately it seem to be no map on their website. I know they had it before.
Yes,GG:s hang there from time to time to drink beers & play pool upstairs..& when the band plays at evenings..I also know that when they have female vocalists it happends these girls brings ladyfriends who might be in party mood..perhaps a longshot but still..this is Patong Beach ..
Also important to know is that this is not a real "monger hotel" like C&N for example..they also cater for plenty of farang couples..incase some guys find this a bit "disturbing"

I saw someone mentioned the Tiger Inn Hotel. In April and June this year I stayed at the Pacific Light Hotel. Its located in the same street as the Tiger Inn. Just walk a bit further down about 100m towards the beach. Staff were extremely friendly, no joiners fee and LB no problem. There are also two new hotels in this street owned by the same family. 'La Bua' and 'The Gallery' I haven't tried them but the staff at the Pacific Light said you can use the swimming pool at The Gallery if you stay at either of the three for no extra charge.
Rooms and beds at the Pacific Light would easily accomodate 3 x people. Clean, not too noisy with balconies. Not too far from C & D or Bangla Road. I will post some pics of my room when I get more time.

It is about a 10 minute walk from C&D. At the bottom of the homepage, you will see a map.
The things I most appreciated about this hotel were:
1. Very comfortable beds. High quality sheets and mattresses.
2. Very quiet and tranquil. Though it does not have an ocean view.
3. Good Wifi in the room.
I stayed there in November of 09 and paid 1000 baht per night.
I again stayed there in late June 2010, and paid only 800 baht per night. Very good value, in my opinion.
During both stays, I took home LB's from C&D. The same night-shift guy was always there. Though i could see it "register" on his face that I was walking in with an LB, he dutifully set about the task of checking in the girl (no joiner fee) without too much eye contact on his part. I don't know if the hotel has an official policy regarding LB's, but I never had a problem.
A clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay.
Cheers all.

If you're looking for cheap, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for super friendly, clean, beautiful, tranquil, and all out lovely, this is the place. They are totally guest & lb friendly w/ no extra charge.
They're about a 10 min walk from C&D. Large beds. Nice balcony. Good AC. Safes in room. Go for it.

It's a family run hotel with about 30 rooms and a great clean little pool. The family are friendly and helpful and I've taken GG's & LB's back with no hassle or joiners fee. It was built about 10 years ago and I stayed there every year between 2002 & 2007 and the rooms were consistently spotless year after year. Rates are around the Bt700 -Bt1700 mark which I think is pretty reasonable.
I'm planning on staying again in November so I'll report an update then. Here's the link if anyone fancies a nosey:

I've been meaning to mention this on this thread for a long time but I have always stayed at a small place called the Jinny Hotel in Phuket. It's about a Kilometer or so from Bangla but only a few minutes on a motorbike taxi and anyway I like to be out of the hussle and bussle a bit during the day.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Patong? Realize it's a bit 'upscale' compared to most hotels on this list, but I was wondering how far it is from the action, and what's the guest policy. I see it on a map, but there's no scale and I can't tell the distance from Bangla.
Appreciate any information.

No it is not open any longer.Think there maybe details here some where if you can find them with a search.Going to try to get to Phuket in the next couple of months and had a couple of questions. I stayed at Place To Stay before, but the web site is not working right now. Is this place still open?

I book "gallery hotel phuket" for one night in mai 2011.
The room was clean with a gigantic bed and a glass-bathroom (I love that )
The mini-safe is not fixed to the wall but they have camera all over the hotel.
I bring "Nuoy" from C&D (5 to 10min by foot), and i didn't pay the hotel for her.
byebye
PS: bay the way Nuoy, she's super lovely with a perfect skin...

Long time lurker here but I decided to step up.
I booked 7 nights in Saladee hotel in Patong. Does anyone knows if they are ladyboy friendly?
They offered my a substansial discount (aprox 30%) with the provision of paying cash on arrival which I intended to do anyway
My research shows that they are guest friendly in general but any first hand info will by better
I am so fed up with all that crap here in Greece about the debt issue that i intent to immerse myself in ladyboy sin.
i promise to write a TR to the best extend of my writing and picture taking skills
