hi guys
Long time lurker here but I decided to step up.
I booked 7 nights in Saladee hotel in Patong. Does anyone knows if they are ladyboy friendly?
They offered my a substansial discount (aprox 30%) with the provision of paying cash on arrival which I intended to do anyway
My research shows that they are guest friendly in general but any first hand info will by better

I am so fed up with all that crap here in Greece about the debt issue that i intent to immerse myself in ladyboy sin.

Arrived yesterday at the Saladee. It is a quiet little hotel with about 20 or so rooms. It belongs to the baipho group and share some facilities. I booked the jacuzzi room. The room is very nice, not very big but has everything one needs namely a king size bed, big bathroom, nicely stocked fridge, strong wifi signal (wifi is free) and of course the jacuzzi which is in a separate alcove.
As for whether they are ladyboy friendly I can report that are.
one more good feature is the extended breakfast hours for those of us who wake up late.
unless they charge for the guests at the end which I really doubt i think it should be added to the list of ladyboy friendly hotels.

I've just been to reconoitre this hotel for a distinguished BM.
Its a good walk from soi Bangla, probably 800 yards, but only 200 from the beach.
Very new hotel, with good standard accomodation, although nothing fancy. They have "superior" and "suites". I only saw the "superior", which is just a standard sized room. I'm guessing a "suite" is slightly bigger, if all the other hotels in the area are anything to go by, as they all seem to be built to the same standard.
I looked at room 403, which is at the front of the building and has a better view than those at the rear (even numbers). It would be worth remembering to ask for a front room when booking.
Each room has its own little balcony, with enough room to sit and take in the "view".
Free wi-fi.
The girl at reception was very helpful, and assured me no joiners fee.

Thanks for that Jimbo, above and beyond the call of duty as always.

The suites are offered at 3000 bht per night during the period I am looking at but after some haggle I have got them down to 2200 - their low season price - which looks like a good deal to me.

They also offered me the standard rooms at 1400 both including breakfast - should I ever make it up in time..
