I've enjoyed reading the chronicles of your relationship here very much.
I am sorry to ask such a question, but curiosity has gotten the better of me.
What decade of life are you in?

Haha. That's a very delicate way of putting it. Must be the Japanese culture rubbing off on you. Unfortunately, it's #7.

Thanks, Spyder, but I'm not sure what happened here. Perhaps some negative posts from some BMs were edited out, and I missed seeing them. I am seeing 2 blank posts from you, and then the "stay strong" one.

Thanks, as always, TL. Yeah, I'm bouncing back and forth between Long Island and my former girlfriend's apartment in Manhattan (Angel knows all about it). Today it was like summer (30 degrees F). It was the first time we got into the 30s in a while. It's actually going to be in the 50s in NYC this weekend. I'm heading up to Saratoga Springs to watch the football playoffs with my son. I was supposed to go last week, but we had a huge snow storm.

that is a wise education.I know she misses me, and is looking forward to my return, but I don't think she needs me, which is a good thing. She is becoming very self-sufficient, which is what I want for her. and I want her to be able to take care of herself. As I said in an earlier post, I'm very proud of her.

I self-edited my own posts, I imbibed far too much on the night of my birthday, and then, came in here and did some drunk posting. Never a good idea, regardless, I did not say anything derogatory towards you; however, I was incoherent in my remarks, so I deleted them.

I didn't think that you had said anything negative, Spyder. I was referring to the "Be strong and make silent the dumb guys" comment. I thought that someone else had made some posts that were deleted by the moderators before I saw your post. Anyway, Angel tells me that her uncle, who lives about 5 kilometers away from us, has electricity now. Good news.

Hey, TL, we actually met almost 2 years ago, February, 2012, when Angel and I went to watch the LPGA event at the Old Siam Country Club. It's scary how fast time does indeed fly.

Well, tomorrow morning I'm on a Cathay Pacific flight heading back to The Philippines. Angel is going to meet me at the airport in Cebu. We'll spend a couple of nights there, and then head for home. Except for internet at our home, everything is pretty much back to normal, at least in our neighborhood. We got our electricity after exactly 10 weeks, but some people not far from us still don't have it. Angel tells me that it has been very, very hot, and has been raining a lot. "Hello, fire. I just left the frying pan."
For the past 9 weeks, I've had a different picture of Nancy as my computer wallpaper. (All G-rated.) Time to put Angel back on there.
