Day 1- The nightmare begins

Well had a uneventful flight from Los Angeles to Bangkok, China airways isnt to bad. left my house around 4:30 am on monday arrived in bangkok 2:00am wed. breeze thru airport and head outside, driver from majestic grande is right outside waiting with a sign with my name on it. In my haste to get outside to have a cigarette i forget to grab some baht at exchange but thats ok ill just hit an ATM when i wake up. i Arrive at the hotel go to check and they ask for my credit card, :( Thats when it hits i dont have my wallet. i search thru my bags, and nothing and i only have 200 usd in my pocket. My stupid -ass left my wallet at home sitting on my dresser. Now how do i survive LOS on 200 usd. Back to the report, not having my credit card i cant check in to hotel. so i have to find a new hotel and figure all this out. the bell man recommends the Manhatten on Soi 15, so i check it out not to bad . i check in and decide to get some rest and figure things out in the morning.[/b]

sgt694u, thanks for sharing your trip report, but please resize your photos to 800x600 pixels, that's the best size for posting to the forum, and making the mods happy.

Yes, I'm hanging for that as well.
I had a similar problem one trip when I lost my ATM card and had to go on credit with a ladyboy for days. My replacement never came before leaving Phuket so I had to buy her gold jewelry on my credit card and use a cash advance on my credit card. Really put a damper on free spending and in the end she was holding my passport after day 5. I couldn't really go with anyone else either. LOL
