It will take time to put the changes through the system to bring the fee down to 15 baht. When they first announced the 150 Baht fee it took about a month for all the ATMs to start charging. There were cases where ATMs of the same bank, but in different areas of Thailand were charging and others were not when the 150 Baht fee came into effect.

Their answer was: that notice and fee reduction supposedly has nothing to do with the use of foreign ATM or credit cards. They said the change relates to non-bank credit cards here in Thailand like those issued by AEON and Tesco-Lotus and such.
Sorry. I give up, guess I will have to open a bank account.

just got 8000 baht from Bank of Ayudha ATM 4th floor Pattaya Central Festival. The usual 15 baht fee was not charged so try this one. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the ATM is in a bank.
Bank of Ayudha/Krungsri fee was never more than 15 baht on any occasion and they were the last ones to introduce the fee so look out for the yellow ATMs.
And anyone defending the banks for the charges: VISA pays EVERY ATM owner in the world 1.73 EUR per withdrawal so I don't see why they wanna charge even more . Your bank is supposed to get them 1.73 back from you trough account fees or non-existent interest rates.
AEON still never charge but there aren't too many around.
Hope that helps

I tried to use my card at the Ayudhya ATM in Tukcom on Sunday and it was charging the 150B fee. There is an Ayudhya Bank just up the street so I will give that a try. I have a friend from England that still tells me he is only getting charged 15B at Ayudhya using his home debt card (Nationwide, or something like that). But his card started charging a slight fee back home some time ago.Hi guys,

The only AEON ATM I found in Pattaya that is somewhat convenient is in Carrefour on Pattaya Klang (Central Road just east of 3rd Road). It is near the entrance to the bathrooms near the northeast corner of the ground floor.

got 9000 Baht out at of a normal Bank of Ayudha ATM(the one next do the exchange booth in soi Buakhaow), at the same ATM I was charged 15 Baht with the same card the last 2 times, but they did not charge this time so I guess the fee has been abolished and they just need to update all the other ATMs.
Good luck guys... I not gonna pay anymore. By the way ATMs are usually only charging the 150 B after it's been displayed. I really don't see why some guys dont press cancel and waste the equivalent of 5 meals just because the are too lazy to walk around and find another ATM that only charges 15 or 20 baht or nothing. After all, you don't have to wait before you money is completely finished when checking out ATMs.

Because lady you are »in lub« is standing behind you… waiting for you to pay her allowance… Sad but 100% true.

I remember when Siam commercial bank introduced the Falang fees (only 20 B back then, they were the first ones to do it, correct me if I'm wrong) I wanted to hit cancel but didn't wanna seem like a Cheap Charlie cause my lady was waiting. Since then I always keep a stash of cash in my safe and make sure I never run out (as far as THAT is practicable:)) cause I hate giving the bank my money...

I went to the Ayudhya Bank on Pattaya Tai. It was also charging the 150B fee which I rejected. You would think the ATMs at the bank would be up to date. Are you by chance using a Nationwide card?? I have heard several reports from guys getting charged nothing or 15B on a Nationwide card at Ayudhya. EVERY ATM wants 150 on my debt card except AEON who has few locations in Pattaya.Ok,
