The X10 is great though now and again the flash has a mind of it's own.

The OMD just gets released this month so I may miss it on my short trip...I shall have to go hunting for my old Olympus stuff in me attic and see what lenses I have...
The X10 is great though now and again the flash has a mind of it's own.
With the X10 you dont need to use Flash, put in EXR Low Light and you're good to go. Flash !@#$ your photo anyway, but that just my humble opinion :-)
Anyway, here's an idea, how about getting together with a few guys whom are into photography, we meet up for the afternoon, select a cool outdoor location, put together some cash and 'rent' and LB model for the afternoon, have a few drinks, talk some shop, share some tips, shoot some shots. No porn, just nice outdoor portrait/fashion/street/landscape stuff.
We can open a private FB group or something to plan the outings.
Anyway just a thought. I'd be up for it.

A 2 gig memory card is about 10 dollars & the girls can load the pictures onto their Facebook page or wherever. When others see what can be done, they'll want some too.
A few of us have been asked to take pictures, I know Bumblebee has. I have supplied a few girls with a thumb drive, they were happy to get it. I haven't met any who wanted full frontal pictures of themself, LBs are natural posers but quite shy about showing their cock. But CL did write "no porn" so that would be re-assuring to the shy ones.
If this ever gets organised I would be happy to come along. Mainly for support, I can't see how a group can all take their picture at once. But it might be fun trying.

Everyone will also have it's own 'creative approach' so no issue shooting at the same time, it's what a lot of these field workshops type thingies do anyway

Then again, these days, I tend to shoot with older cameras, fully manual. Find that they just have a bit more character, more control.
Just thought I'd drop a quick shot, which I kinda like.
Met up with a dear friend this weekend for Songkran. Decided to do a few shots. Had a 2007 10MP camera laying around.

A580 reviews were good and because I can use old Minolta lenses on alpha bodies this is at least for me clear winner over other brands that are not as good in dealing with old lenses. First lens I bought was Minolta 50mm f1,7 and after I took few 100 pictures I'm impressed. 25+ year old lens but pictures are razor sharp, lens produces bokeh like I never experienced before and Minolta colors are still what they were few decades ago… Today I got my second “oldtimer”lens I always wanted to have, Tokina - SD AF 28-70 F3.5-4.5. Again 20+ year old lens but with modern Sony body results are beyond any expectations and I paid 30 EUR for lens (yep, cheaper than my yesterday pizza&beer) Ok lens much heavier than modern day plastic-fantastic lenses but it outperforms my Sony 18-50 lens any time. I didn’t decide what my next buy will be but all I know dirt cheap Minolta/Tokina lenses gave me same or in case of 50mm lens better results than my friends produced with their Sony G series lenses and all this at a fraction of the cost.
