Thank you for the great TR udrees
Refreshing, honest and entertaining.
For a 1st trip you covered a lot of ground and got into a lot of adventures. Maybe there will be a sequel. If so i look foreward to reading it.

yeah, thanks payoff.
behind the scene left many cultural places, which i visited, stories with bargirls and native thai, first bungy jumping in Pattaya, since all of it was not connected with LBs. :D

surely many tourists from Russia, arriving with wives, spend their time, drinking tough alcohol near swimming-pools or swarming only on Walking street + Ko Larne.
one day i and one friend helped "such a tourist" to reach the sea on his last day, since all the time he got drunk in a hotel. He looked by lacklustre eyes on sea, said "What a wonderful view. Next time i must come here again".
another man travelled three times in Thailand and had no idea what Soi's are around Walking street and there are also life.

u r correct. i am preparing my second trip, writing a story and choosing a pics. trip to beautiful tropical island Phuket.

Thanks for that. Your trip report writing style is unique and very interesting. Looks like you had a great time.

... at first, i thought i could not add anything interesting to this forum.
and only lately i had a courage to put some memories here.

Boy, nothing could be further from true!

This is one of the best TRs I've seen. Detailed, really giving the reader the feelings of a first-timer, well written in an honest, somewhat vulnerable manner and complemented with excellent photos.

I look forward to meeting you again on your next trip.

Great report. My favorite part is the quote from Paris about having already been with four guys that night. Let's pretend to eavesdrop on how that conversation might have gone;

Paris: Hey han sum man. Where you go?

udrees: Well actually I'm a little tired right now. Just shagged the hell out of two ladyboys.

Paris: Only two? I just tossed the salad of four berry han sum guys. Wanna be lucky number five? Good news is no lube necessary. I'm pretty well broken in right now.

Priceless.

:D nope, it is not true.
it looked more trivial, than someone could imagine.
i just came done from Marine disco, where i was rejected by a several GGs :) , when Paris noticed me. since it was quite late already, it was 3 am, she asked me where i go. i said i go to Jasmine hotel to get some sleep. She said she wanted to go with me. and i asked her how many customers she already had.
since i was very tired, we agreed to have sex in the morning.
she just demonstrated some bj technics before sleep.
no miracles, as usual it happens in life.

It was my second trip to Thailand. Some people here call it “Post-Thailand syndrome:D , when they want to return there with all their heart and wish, start saving, borrowing money and counting days on calendar before so wanted a trip :) . In addition, all the days they moan on internet forums “57 days left”, “28 days left”, “hurrah, 5 more days, I cant work, cant concentrate on anything”.

The same happened with me, after the first trip I was eager to return again there, so I counted days on calendar, marking days passed and days left :D . I was reading reports on different forums, shared my experience and so on. I looked at photos of other travelers and dreamed again. And finally the happy day came – I was flying again to Thailand. :P
The same air company, the same Boeing-757, the same expectations. Although it was still rainy season, it didn’t scare me much. At first, I intended to travel to Cambodia for a 2-3 days, then maybe to Phuket and then to Pattaya. I thought I would decide it in the airport. When I arrived in Suvarnabhumi at 11 am, I ran quickly to the fourth floor to buy tickets. The earliest flight was at 13:30 to Phuket, so I bought ticket of Air Asia, though originally wanted to buy ticket of One-to-go company. After having a quick lunch in the airport, I went on a check in and into the airplane. We waited for additional 20-25 minutes, when the captain announced “Sorry, due to some technical problems we have a delay”. :(

Posted Image
Not anybody paid attention to his words and it was no use trying. I think, taking in account what happened after two hours, people would be reacting different. After maintenance crew repaired something, our small airbus quickly ran along a scorching concrete runway and lifted up to sunny and borderless sky ocean. Flight was so-so, except I noted too much clouds above Phuket and the south of Thailand. It didn’t scare me too much, though I knew it was not good.

Posted Image

After about hour of flight our airplane successfully landed in Phuket International airport.
Posted Image

In the salon there were some scarce applauses :( . If we knew what happened in near future, I suspect storm of applauses wouldn’t stop for a 10-15 minutes and I would be also clapping louder than anyone else :D . OK, the short story is when I went outside the airport, immediately heavy raining started with very strong wind  . I chose minibus to Patong area with ten more other tourists. During our trip, we didn’t pay attention to emergency cars hurrying towards airport. Later in cybercafé I read that 20 minutes after our landing, came unsuccessful board of One-to-go company. As I remember, strong wind affected them and plane fell outside the landing zone, about 90 passengers died. For me one this news was enough to felt again how close we all walk near death every day. You never know when you are buying “death ticket” or “one way ticket”, and when you are buying something, it could be the choice between “life” and “death”. Even if 30-40 people survived the crush, I doubt very much they felt themselves comfortable, maybe they wouldn’t use air transport forever. For me it was easy to imagine their terror – terrible strike, screeching roar of plane engines, everything is darkening inside salon, no light, except emergency lights, screams of people burning alive (not like in a Hollywood movies, who watched reporter’s clips from real fireplaces, know how really people cry), panic, smoke, finally probably death  . To find urself with broken legs in such conditions is similar to death verdict.

Year earlier I maybe also escaped the same destiny on Bali. I wanted to travel by bus, but the girl insisted on using airplane. And later on TV I found out, that Surabaya, where our bus should be passing through, suffered earthquake with significant damage.
So my vacation in Phuket and Thailand was going under the flag “memento more”, thus giving life another delicious taste and colour.

I arrive on Soi Sansabai and settled in Orchid residence guesthouse. Actually there were several different “orchids” on a street, but I chose the last one. Everything was located near famous Bangla road. Almost immediately after watching news about accident in Phuket airport on TV hanging on reception, i felt desire to get rid of my stress and I ran to the 7/11 nearby and bought a bottle of thai whiskey –sang som, which I tasted in my room before shower. :D
my room in a guesthouse was modest, but quite comfortable. nice and quiet place - everything u need to sleep without noise. maybe in a high season it a bit louder there, since sometimes walking at night in a corridor, i heard screams and moans of girls in looms :D
Posted Image
Posted Image
That day it was raining all the time.
Posted Image
I checked internet, then had a supper with lobster
Posted Image
and went to look at famous “Phuket walking street”.

Posted Image
Posted Image

Despite raining, people and bargirls were walking along the street, especially under canopies of bar complexes. In the middle of the road I noticed Tequila bar where stood many ladyboys. :D

Posted Image

They were inviting all walking men to take shots with them, seducing them. :D
So I entered the bar, sat on a stool and ordered a drink.

. I also noticed that many ladyboys near middle of street worked like a freelancers. One of them – Yunme – always wanted to go with me, although she was not my type. Slim, short and with some curvy teeth. :( As I later found out, she worked in a bar nearby and her friend-LB was working there as a bartender. Together with Donut I came in my guesthouse, on reception she gave id-card. Of course, there were no “guest charge” and woman on a desk was more interested in watching TV, rather than in visitors. :D

I spent a couple of hours with Donut, when she asked me if she could stay with me for a night. I don’t know why, but I refused. Anyway she gave me her e-mail address.

Next day the weather was the same “piece of shit”. I walked to Patong beach and tried to swim in a rough waves, but the plenty of men on jet ski’s spoiled all my fun  . They were driving along the beach and I was not sure if they are capable to notice my head between waves. :o
Posted Image
anyway some views near the sea were quite nice, worth visiting together with a GG or LB, or if u lack both of it, u can come with a bottle of thai whiskey. :D

Posted Image

It didn’t spoil my mood, since I didn’t pay anything for staying on a beach and then I headed to Patong area.
Posted Image
Posted Image

tuk-tuk mafia, always doing nothing, waiting for customers and complaining on "low season".

Near Patong beach.
http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 025.jpg

Bangla road in a daytime. Looks very quiet and common, like a Walking street in Pattaya.
http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 026.jpg
strange how girls reacted on me on Phuket. (if you remember how they reacted on me in Pattaya :P ) maybe it is an influence of tropical island or limitless sea or sea air ? now they added to their middle finger their pointing finger. :D what a progress :P
http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 028.jpg
After bungy jumping from 60 meters. On opposite side of street where Royal Paradise hotel stands, there is some open-air restaurant.
http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 029.jpg
When I entered and ordered my usual meal – fried pork with something delicious, at first I didn’t pay attention to waiters. :? But then I noted that they acted very like a gays. After sharing a couple of words, I finally understood they were gays. One of them, servicing me (I mean – carrying food, not sex) :D , sat in front of me and told me, that in the evening he works in Simon cabaret, so after one hour he must go there. When I mentioned him that yesterday I saw ladyboy on Bangla road and picked up one of them, he began offering himself to me  . “You should try a man. You already tried ladyboy, now it is time to try a boy. Ladyboy take money. But you can have sex with gay for free. Ladyboy no good”. Since I am not into such things, I refused his solicitations. After it, I headed to famous Simon cabaret

Simon cabaret.
First unpleasant surprise for me – all tickets for a first row were sold out. I remember when I came to Tiffany and Alcazar cabarets 5-10 minutes before the show, I could buy tickets in a first row or at least, seats in the middle of scene. Here I came at 6 pm and couldn’t buy suitable seat for 7:30 pm show. But finally I bought a place in a 5th row and entered the hall.

Posted Image
Posted Image

There were many many tourists from different countries. Near me sat some chinese tourists.
Then the show started

Posted Image
Posted Image
For those readers, who already visited at least one of such a high-tech performances in Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket, the whole show had almost the same program as in other ladyboy cabarets. The difference is not so significant, maybe only in beauty of top-dancers, is it allowed to make photo shooting, price of a show and costumes and backgrounds.

I could understand for which tourists some performances were created, looking at reaction of different groups of customers. For example, it was japanese performance.

Posted Image

then chinese performance.
Anybody knows, what song do they use in this show ?
Posted Image
Korean performance. maybe traditional, or maybe of South Korea.
i wonder when they create performance to North Korea and how will it look like ?
something in a spirit of communist parades ?
did i say that military uniforms adorns men ? and maybe LBs ?

Posted Image

then show continued
Posted Image
Posted Image

looks like it is their top dancers.
Posted Image
some performance on Egypt theme were quite beautiful, though of course, we wont have egyptians tourists anymore, since arabs sitting on ruins of great Egyptian civilization and selling ancient culture cant be called egyptian  . I was there and it looked very very funny, :D something like if somewhen arabs would walk in kimono and wear samurai outfit, advertising ancient Japan. :D

somewhere through them were gay-waiters whom i met near Royal Paradise hotel.

After show performers as usual lined up outside for “tips”. After reading the book “The third sex” of R.Totman I knew that performers usually arrange a date with tourists after show. :D They try to earn some money above their average salary. So if anybody is interested in dating with them, he should come on a last show and had a deal with someone. Not all go, but many of them are ready for some affairs. :D
let's cite some sentences from this book.
"Dancers were required to perform two or three shows a day seven days a week. When she started her new job there was no mention at all of any time off...Pay was hardly generous, on a scale from 6000 baht a month for the juniors to 10000 baht for the principal dancers."
"Apart from the physical demands of dancing three shows every day there were other surprises. The monthly salary was hardly enough to live on and it was expected of a performer to make this up to meet her needs by posing for tourists' cameras and camcorders after each show. So the dancers would line up in costume and compete for "tips" to pose for photographs. The standard tip was 20 baht, but the trick was to spot the wealthier tourist and try for a larger sum.
The other, more lucrative, way for a dancer to raise her income above the level of bare subsistence was to arrange an assignation with a customer after the last show...One of her flat-mates, Sai, would regularly return home at 3 or 4 in the morning or not at all...Many, but not all of the girls, did this. Not surprisingly those who made themselves most available were the ones from the poorest families
."

Tequila bar again.
After show I returned again to Bangla road and Rat-u-thit road for some foot massage. :D In the corner, opposite of Jungceylon shopping center, stood hair salon “Casanovi salon” full of ladyboys  (usually I didn’t see there any customers, ladyboys were lazily walking inside or laying on sofas, cumbing their long hairs), where once I had my hairs cut (not bad to my opinion, because when I returned at home, hairdresser said compliments about it). This ladyboy cut my hairs, though she didnt speak english well. Her friends helped during conversations. Looked like they worked in a bar opposite of salon.
Posted Image

Posted Image

and massage salon, where also ladyboys worked.
And one more thing – in a small side-street there ladyboys were walking hither and thither. One of them, walking near me, always showed me her tits  . She was post-op, if I am not mistaken, as she lifted up her dress and there were no panties under it. :D
Posted Image

i wondered where they got customers in such a small side-street. it is located outside of Bangla road and usually there are no customers. All people were gathering on main street. And why they didnt go there ? maybe they were using some "yabba" or had bad behavior ?

And in another hair salon nearby also were sitting several ladyboys. One of them were quite tall – maybe 190 cm and didnt speak english. I wanted to pick her up, and I don’t know why I had done it. :(
Posted Image

Among them were one ladyboy looking very pitiful, with fat and ugly face, bulky body, breasts and also post-ops. She looked very like a man with heavy make-up.

probably she looked like this LB in red dress. maybe she also worked in Simon in the evening. :)
Posted Image

After foot massage there, I went to Bangla road to the same bar.
Posted Image

Actually I made a long tour, looking for a famous “Cocktailes and Dreams”, but without luck. I scanned tens of bars, full of GG and even entered Tiger disco and then found myself on Patong beach in Banana disco. The whole establishments were not like in Pattaya. In every place there were signs like “entrance 200 baht” or “300 baht”. Along the streets there were standing many many tuk-tuks with drivers asking “tuk-tuk ?” Since in Russia “tuk-tuk” means “knock-knock”, I always answered “who is there ?”

After a couple of hours I landed in the same Tequila bar in audience of other ladyboys.Donut was not here, probably she was with other customer, so other ladyboys started seducing me. :D

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

After drinking my beer, I chose one. I don’t remember her name

Posted Image

After a while, Donut emerged in a bar, wearing a different dress, and noticed me with another ladyboy. She was not happy seeing this picture and showed me her tongue, but quickly found another customer and began flirting with him. :D

http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 061.jpg

My new LB was not speaking English well, but I realized it only later on a way to my guesthouse. After short investigation, she told that she worked in Simon cabaret before but didn’t like all noise, dances and lights. When I showed her my pics taken in Simon, with confidence she recognized and named all ladyboys on photos. :)

Next day I spent on Phi-Phi islands. It was amazing view and lots of fun. :D Even the weather was beautiful, sunny and not windy. Every picture made there looked like from National Geographic magazine. :) I have never seen such a beautiful colour of water. Comparing with it, water in Pattaya seems like sewage and swimming there is nothing more than swimming in a gutter. What else I remembered on Phi-Phi ? On a way back our speedboat knocked down dolphin. At this time I was dreaming on astern of speedboat when sudden strike made all people to awake. In a waves I noticed flinging up thoracic fin of some animal. Thai workers started engines again and speedboat arrived in Phuket without other adventures. I wonder why they didn’t take body of an animal and make some kind of food of it ?
http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 066.jpg

http://www.lb-69.com...ражение 067.jpg
This evening I again visited foot massage, came in another salon for thai massage. After a while, I changed it to oil massage. Thai girl wanted to make handjob, but I refused, saying something “I am not too old and not too lazy to make it myself, if I wish”. In the end she wanted 500 baht “tip”.

Now I went to the middle of Bangla road, where ladyboys usually gather. :) One of them – quite tall noticed me. We went to her bar nearby and ordered her a drink. Although she was tall and looked not like a common thai girl, she claimed she was not ladyboy. Her name was Tommy and she told she had mixed blood, half-thai and maybe half-farang.

http://www.lb-69.com...ение 139a-1.jpg

She said her father is a policeman. She was quite pushy. After ordering a drink, she told “if you don’t barfine me, I am leaving you, I need to work outside”. I barfined her and we went to my guesthouse. When she took off her clothes, at first, once again I hesitated that she was a ladyboy. “hmm, probably she has such an appearance due to mixed blood ?” was my thought. Her boobs looked like of a real woman’s things, a little sagging, not like silicone breasts. She had no dick and had hairs on labia and nice woman’s ass. :D In whole her figure looked like of a high farang woman. And at first time, I believed she was not ladyboy. Later in the bed, inspecting in short her vagina, for the second time, I believed again she was not a ladyboy. I should admit that human senses usually feel some falseness, when everything seems to be OK, inside, in heart and brains, someone cries “It is bullshit” :o . And in the same case, after sex and several changing of postures, I hardly noticed not clear visible scars under breasts and then on vagina  .

Certainly, under a closer look, it didn’t look like natural of a woman. Since my father is a doctor :D , in my childhood I was a spoilt child with all that medical library. She continued to deny everything and I stopped my endeavors to change her mind. On the whole, Tommy had very business-like, always hurried, like keeping up with a tight schedule, so I wouldn’t advise her to anyone, except maybe to enemies.

Next day I spent visiting many temples or wats on Phuket, starting with Chalom temple. nice beautiful place, which i visited, mumbling under my nose some chapters from Leviticus, Chapter 18 "18:21 Do not give any of your children to be initiated to Molekh, so that you not profane your God's name; I am God." and Chapter 20 "20:13 If a man has intercourse with another man in the same manner as with a woman, both of them have committed a disgusting perversion. They shall be put to death by stoning."

then i visited nice Patong beach.

Posted Image

And then in the evening I went to Bangla road again, looking for Cocktailes and dreams bar, which I was looking for since my arrival to Phuket without luck. Finally, I asked about Soi Angel and thai boy gave me “the right” direction  , he sent me to the end Bangla road near Patong beach. I went there, found no “Cocktailes and Dreams”, passed through Tequila bar and returned back to Tiger disco  . I was circling near it some time and then entered another small side-road full of bars with a restaurant in the end. :( I walked all the way long, found nothing and came back. Then I returned again to this side-road, noticed small passage somewhere to another place in the back of restaurant, hardly filtered there :( , made some curve and found myself in front of “Cocktailes and Dreams:lol: . Finally I found this place, though I wasted a couple of hours. :D

The environment inside was nice, though I wouldn’t say it was all friendly. A couple of ladyboys were very nice and polite. :P

I met with Ning-Nong, one of bosses in a bar :D . She was a lot of fun and interesting person, telling many stories about bar and people there and offering spa massage with a discount. Unfortunately, I already had a ticket for airplane tomorrow morning and was going to visit Pattaya once again and maybe make short visit in Bangkok. So after some time, cabaret performed some show on stage. And then jimbo34 arrived inside bar after visit to dentist and told he was going to Pattaya soon. There we met again soon. :) After show, I chose Jenny who performed there and barfined her. One her mobile phone there were interesting photos of her when she was a boy and when with make-up. But due to incompatibility of Bluetooth, we couldn’t transfer them. :(
she was very happy with her boss jimbo34 in Cocktailes and Dreams. "We like him. He is very kind man" and so on. :D

Next morning I flew to Bangkok by One-to-go company without fear of accident (“Air company cant have accidents every day”). There in Suvarnabhumi I used shuttle bus to travel from domestic airport to bus station area. On a station I bought a ticket for 106 baht and moved to Pattaya. :D

Once again I used baht bus to reach Walking street and settle in Jasmine Hotel. Girl on reception was happy to see me and received small gift.

Since all superior rooms were taken, I chose deluxe room on a third floor :D

Hi Udrees,

Hope there's still plenty more to come, as this report is really fantastic.

The photos are superb and give those that haven't made it there a really good appreciation of what to expect.

Whilst your style of reporting is certainly unique, it's still easy to read, and really captures the moment.

Cheers
