Spyder Rocket, don't be too concerned about Boss45's comments. He is obsessed with paying the least amount of money possible for a p4p lb. So he will never be going to Japan to check out the scene as it would greatly exceed his 500 Baht budget.

@Boss45

I think you inadvertently embedded your comment inside the quote, no biggie...

I would not say the scene is closed to non-Japanese, but that it does take time and effort to crack into. After that, you aren't really paying for it if you are meeting them at parties and regular bars.

The casual tourist can pony up and just pay for it at brothels, and yes, it is a bit pricey, but so what, as long as you've got the money.

One way or another, we all pay something to fuck, either time, effort, or money; you always pay something.

Your point is correct, time and effort meaning if you live there or are there often, then it may be different. May members are tourists and stay for two weeks. Japan has always been more expensive and yes there is a biased against westners. If money is of no concern to you, please finance my trip to Japan and Iwill send back a fair and hoonest appraisal.

As fro you Mr. Rx, I in fact always pay more than what the average board members "lies" about what they pay. I am sure you have baht falling out of your underwear when you hit LOS, so please send some over here. :harhar:

I was clear in the OP that the scene in Japan isn't for sex tourists like Thailand, but since you bring that up, it is worth stating again.

Although Japan has a large sex industry, it isn't primarily marketed toward gaijin. That said, if you are smarter than the average Joe, and not tight with your money, you can find plenty of action.

If you aren't a uncouth slob, and find yourself living in Japan, you can find plenty of non-P4P newhalfs once you establish a network of friends.

I'll likely add a few more posts to this thread in the coming days as I expect to have a couple of days down time.

Here is another one of my favorite newhalf porn stars that also works in a Deri Heru (brothel).

Mai Ayase, she is simply sexy as hell, if you've ever seen one of her movies, you are likely a fan.

She can be found at Anniversary in Shinjuku: http://www.anniversary-nh.com/top.html

Here is a link to a site with a bunch of sample clips to her movies:

Those are all pixelated clips, but the un-pixelated Japanese porn can be found, just included that link for the hell of it.

Here is another Karaoke bar in Shinjuku

J's BAR CROSS DRESS SHINJUKU

Address: 東京都新宿区新宿2-11-10
        新宿2丁目センタービル2F

Link to staff page: http://crossdress-sh...e.com/page4632/

Link to main page: http://crossdress-sh...om/topics/2014/

Link to system (Menu) page: http://crossdress-sh....cloud-line.com

I don't have any specific intel on this place, but it is the kind of place I would check out when trying to meet new people.

For Tokyo, the prices seem reasonable and they have a couple of cuties on staff.

Note: A word on prices and the no gaijin policies that many places have. The reason for many places being wary of gaijin is not so much xenophobia but fear of disputes about the bill or gaijin not understanding enough Japanese to order from their seemingly complex menu/charging systems. Although there are places that are clip joints and will pad the bills of drunk customers, most places do not, they are just expensive.

Translation of menu:

◆ customers keep bottle ◆
Karaoke ¥ 3000 one person your all-you-can-sing
Mixers: All-you-can-drink water, green tea, oolong tea, orange and various other soft drinks (except carbonated)
※ bottle We are ¥ 3000 ~ available.
※ all-you-can-drink cocktail in highball plus ¥ 500.

◆ customers all-you-can-drink
60 minutes ¥ 3000 all-you-can-sing karaoke
Shochu (mixers: water, green tea, oolong tea)
※ plus ¥ 300 other assignments of OK · soft drink
※ additional extension of ¥ 2000 ... every hour.

120 minutes ¥ 5000 all-you-can-sing karaoke
Shochu (Mixers: water, green tea, oolong tea, orange and various other)
All-you-can-drink soft drinks (except carbonated)
※ all-you-can-drink cocktail highball plus ¥ 500

Note: I said this in the OP, but I'll repeat it to avoid confusion. Many of the posts in this thread are intended to help the newbie expat get a feel for the newhalf scene in Japan. Please don't try to compare it to the scene in Thailand.
================================================================================

Here is an example of a high-end newhalf hostess club that you don't have much of a chance getting into as a solo gaijin.

You'd need to be in the company of Japanese friends to get in and it is not the kind of place to spend the entire evening unless you've got the cash in your budget for expensive entertainment. (More on the intricacies of Japanese friendship and paying the tab later.)

In this club, depending on the course you select, you'll be paying ¥10,000 to ¥15,000 per 90 minutes of drinking and chatting with the girls. Each club has a different system, so learn how to read a menu.

Sometimes the girls get a little drunk and you'll see some tits or a PG-13 make out session, but for the most part it is pretty tame. There are places that have VIP rooms and a hell of a lot more goes on in them, but as a newbie gaijin, it is best to put that shit out of your head for the time being.

That said, if a girl takes a liking to you, she won't be shy about hooking up with you later. Keep in mind that a lot of these girls indirectly protect their income by going on rather innocent dates with the customers. In other words, it is just to keep you interested enough to keep coming to the club, and, although they won't expect compensation or gifts, they won't be putting out for you either. If they are wily, and many are, you can expect subtle and overt requests for gifts. I would avoid going on dates on nights that she has to work later that same evening.

It will be obvious if she is really into you; because she will be spending her nights off with you and fucking the hell out of you.

In the previous posts I have made reference to the importance of making Japanese friends when trying to crack into the newhalf scene.

You'll be able to meet many more people and break through the gaijin barrier when in the company of Japanese friends. That old adage about choosing your friends wisely is of course universal, so don't be desperate and choose a buffoon as a friend.

Take it slow, but don't be too timid or shy either. I know how that sounds contradictory, but I don't know another way to put it.

I also promised some information about paying the tab in the previous post. I wish I could give you some hard advice that always applies, but unfortunately, I've seen too many different scenarios unfold upon paying the tab when out partying with Japanese friends.

I would have to say that the most common scenario, is to split the bill evenly regardless of who consumed what. However, I have seen everybody going Dutch and paying their own tabs almost as much. It depends a lot on what type of place you've been eating or drinking at, and how well you know the people in your group.

I even had a small circle of close friends and we would take turns picking up the entire tab, but that was after we had been hanging out for over a year together.

In the beginning, it can be a tricky thing to figure out, and I am going to assume that you are out partying with casual friends and not business associates/clients, a whole other set of customs there.

If it isn't implicitly discussed on who is paying before hand, always offer to chip in. Your friends will understand that you are a gaijin and that you have a different way of looking at such matters.

Being a gaijin sometimes works to your advantage and sometimes puts you in awkward situations, just have an easy going attitude, is about the best advice that I can offer.

I'll close with another bit of confusing and somewhat circular logic:

Do try to fit in and adopt the ways of your new friends, but never forget you will always be a gaijin.

I don't necessarily mean that as a negative, but just as the reality. Plus, it serves a subtle warning not to become a gaijin jackass who thinks he is Japanese. Your friends probably like the fact that you are a gaijin, as long as you are cool.

I actually have been on a Nana tour with a Japanese buddy; his first night, that fucker took five from Cassanova back to his hotel to re-enact his favorite bukkake scene. He said it wasn't enough and by the end of the trip he managed to round up 12 from various bars and had an impressive amount of video.

I forget how much he was paying the participants, but it really wasn't that much, or I didn't think so at the time. He did take a killing on joiner fees, but he wised up and used a cheap hotel to "shoot" his subsequent videos.

I was surfing for some random newhalf content and found this video. At first, I was laughing, and then at some point, I got a little turned on, and felt decidedly uncomfortable and gay.

This guy is a cross dresser and not a newhalf, but the video is worth a watch, he has a bunch of them on his YouTube channel.

Hey, they all start out as crossdressers, don't they?
One of my favorite newhalfs, Serina Tachibana, got her start on the Jyosou Bishonen website where they start off the video interviewing the "guy" then show the transformation, putting on makeup, doing the hair, etc. before the porn action starts, all pixelated though. It's amazing to see how some very ordinary looking guy can be made up to be a real stunner!
