This is an outstanding thread. I’m too a huge fan of Japanese newhalfs and porn in general; I wish it was easy to get into the scene like in Thailand. The Japanese sex industry is so kinky and perverted; it keeps the blood pumping all the times. I always wonder how they come up with those kinky ideas. Amazing, there is nothing like it.

Great work, keep em coming. :clapclap:

Spyder Rocket, you have provided an amazing amount of helpful information. My girlfriend and I signed up just to thank you.  She's Thai (gg, very hot), I'm a white dude.  We were really interested in finding out if it would be difficult to mingle (and more) in the scene over there, being that we are a duo. We were really happy to find your tip on attending events with a companion.  We'd be very interested in any other advice you might have on how a couple could enjoy the scene. Thank you so much!

I do think that as a couple you will be able to mingle at parties and events more easily than as a solo male. The biggest barrier will be language. As I said earlier, if you are living in Japan it really pays to put forth the effort to learn as much of the language as possible. Despite the fact that the Japanese school system teaches English beginning in elementary school, most Japanese people you meet will only have the most basic of English skills.

As for advice on getting into scene, like I said before, newhalf karaoke pubs are a great place to meet friends. If you are having trouble finding them, another option would be to go to a newhalf show pub (cabaret), there are several in Roppongi and Kabukicho where the actors sit at your table before and after the show. You could always ask for the cabaret performers to recommend a good karaoke pub.

If it is just straight hook ups for sex, well, there are a number of social media sites for that, but you'll need to be able to read Japanese for that. I never really used social media for that, but it might be worth a try. Check out: http://newhalf.net/index2.html

There are several chat rooms on that site and places to post personal ads for hook ups. You could post an ad for anything ranging from looking for friends to go sing with or sex partners. I think you would have to be very bold to do that. There are a few more ニューハーフ membership sites out there too; however, if you can't read Japanese it will be hard to participate.

If you have a sexually adventurous girlfriend, there are also underground sex parties called "happening clubs" in Tokyo. However, it is kind of a requirement to be hot enough for a complete stranger to want to fuck to go to those. As a hot couple, you should be able to get in. From what I understand, most of those clubs have a lounge area to mingle and then you go to dimly lit rooms or booths to have group sex. I never made it into one of those places, but they are out there, and I am sure there are a couple associated with the newhalf scene.

Frankly, I think the best advice is to make as many friends from the newhalf scene as possible and then go out and party with them. Sooner or later you'll end up crashing at someone's apartment or a love hotel and an alcohol fueled romp will unfold. ;)

Tell me a little more about your length of stay in Japan and what it is you are looking for and I might be able to suggest a few things that are better suited to you.

This is all really very helpful.  Thanks for taking the time to point us in the right direction. We haven't decided exactly when we will be staying there, but it will likely be for about a week before heading to Thailand for a while.  We're likely to make another stop on the way back, probably for another week.  (we're in the states now)  We're both adventurous, so we're looking to meet, hang out, party, and more.  We prefer the "more" to be with ones that we click with, rather than P4P, but we'll see what our options are when the time comes.

You'll have a good time, regardless, of what you get into. I have noticed that the "more" usually happens when I'm not trying to orchestrate it, but when I'm just going with the flow of the evening. Besides, there are so many cool touristy things to do and see in Tokyo, that you are guaranteed to have a memorable trip.

If you can arrange your trip to coincide with the monthly Propaganda-Party it is worth checking out. I hope I haven't given the impression that this is a wild and frenzied party. It can be rather sedate and much more of a PG-13 rating and occasionally becoming more R rated as the night wears on.

Of course, a lot of the booths and participants at the party are primarily concerned with the art of dressing as a woman and applying cosmetics. Still, GGs are welcome at this party and it won't be a problem taking your girl.

Flattery will get you everywhere with a newhalf, and having your girlfriend fawn over a newhalf's fashion sense or artful use of makeup is a great way to strike up a conversation.

You don't have to dress up, but you'll probably feel more at ease, confident, and attract positive attention if you are dressed in a trendy and stylish manner. The age range at this party is 20s to 40s, and you can potentially see everything, from the comical, to fashion model chic.
===================================================================================

I'll throw in a few handy travel tips as they might be useful to others. This stuff isn't newhalf related, but useful, none-the-less.

SMART PHONES:

If you are coming from the US, chances are that your smart phone will be locked and you will not be able to insert a new SIM card for use in country. You can speak to your wireless provider about unlocking it prior to your trip.

However, I always just rent a wireless router from the Soft Bank or Docomo desks at Narita Airport. Their booths are located in the arrivals terminal after you clear customs and immigration near the entrance to the Keisei Skyliner train terminal.

Renting a wireless router is worth the expense because you'll have access to things like Google Maps that will help you navigate the streets of Tokyo and the subway system so much easier. You will not be able to use the phone for voice calls unless you use Skype or something similar.

Many times, you can cut & paste the address of a place you are going to and it will calculate a walking and subway route with current arrival times of each train.

If you are looking for bars or pubs, Google Maps will get you to the correct building or block, but it can still be tricky finding the door to the place you are going. In most of the entertainment districts the bars are located in maze of back alleys or stacked in multi-floored buildings. Again, having a smart phone in your hand will allow you to reference what the bar's sign looks like and sometimes help you decipher katakana/hiragana/kanji.

The wireless routers are smaller than a pack of cigarettes, so it isn't a hassle to carry one around. They hold a battery charge for most of the day, but it might be wise to toss the charging cable in your backpack. You'll get reception in the majority of train stations even under ground. Reception tends to drop out once you are on the trains, but other than that it is very reliable.

SUBWAYS AND TRAINS

Getting from Narita to Tokyo is simple enough, but you have a number of options. I am a big fan of the Keisei Skyliner train and I usually avoid the buses, especially if I am arriving during rush hour. Here is a link that describes the different options in detail: http://www.japan-gui...om/e/e2027.html

The Tokyo subway system is comprised of three different rail companies, Metro, JR, and Toei, so I would advise getting at least a Metro pass and possibly a JR Rail pass. You are less likely to encounter the need for a Toei pass, but that will be depending on where you are staying and visiting. It is wise to spend a little time studying the subway maps and trying to figure out what you'll need prior to arriving in Tokyo.

The Metro trains start shutting down around midnight during the week, so plan your night accordingly. There are plenty of places to stay out all night if needed or pony up for a taxi ride. Again, another reason to read up on the subway system prior to your arrival.

The JR rail pass is a pretty good bargin depending on what you plan on doing during your stay. They are only available to tourists and it is easiest to get them at JR desk at Narita. They offer several day passes that have unlimited rides, including the super fast Shinkansen. It is a great deal, if you want to hop on the Shinkansen and go to Kyoto or Osaka for a couple of days. If you aren't planing a Shinkansen trip, it becomes less of a value. You can read up on the rules and restrictions here: http://www.japanrail.../eng/en001.html

TOURISTY THINGS TO DO

The Tokyo Skytree is clogged with tourists and locals; plus, you'll undoubtedly be caught in a meandering and painfully long cue after purchasing your ticket. However, it is well worth standing in line for, because the view is breathtaking. Have your video camera ready to roll as you step on the elevator, because filming the height indicator display click by blindly fast and the opening of the doors makes a cool video. Read more about the Skytree here: http://www.tokyo-skytree.jp/en/

My favorite YouTube video of the Skytree:

Less touristy and less crowded is a visit to the observation lounge of the Asahi Beer Company HQ.

Try to get there around sunset, as watching the lights of the city come on is pretty cool. This is a good thing to take a girl to as it can be kind of a romantic setting to watch the sun go down while sipping a super fresh draft Asahi. Cool looking sculpture on top of the building makes it nice to visit. I think the locals nicknamed that sculpture after a slang word for penis.

The observation lounge is in the taller building to the left and the Skytree is in the background.

The New York Bar in the Tokyo Park Hyatt is another romantic place to take your girl. Swanky, expensive, and possibly overloaded with sight seeing gaijin, yet I still recommend it, as it is so damn cool. Read more here:

http://tokyo.park.hy...NewYorkBar.html

A little more off the beaten path is Shinjuku's Piss Alley.

Despite the name, it is worth searching this place out for some cheap authentic Japanese Food and a couple of cool friendly bars were you will likely meet some interesting folks to chat with. If you are adventurous in eating exotic foods, you'll find that here, if not, have dinner in one of the noodle or yakitori shops and then go to one of the bars for drinks. You might be able to quiz the bartender on the location of other interesting "hole in the wall" type places near by.

Don't be afraid of the lack of English menus, just jump in and have fun.

Read more here:

http://www.tofugu.co...ous-piss-alley/

I have mentioned a few times about getting the best intel on cool clubs and pubs from bartenders, waiters, and waitresses. If you are lucky enough to get one that speaks decent English, don't be afraid to ask them to recommend others places to go. Many times they have even called ahead to tell the bar mama or bar master, to say that they are sending a cool gaijin over, and that will often remedy the dreaded, "no gaijin" policy that some places enforce.

I could go on and on, but I have to wrap it up for now. I might add some recommendations of budget hotels that I have stayed at later.

MORE ON FINDING CLUBS

Even for a Tokyo resident it can be difficult finding small clubs that are packed into blocks with dozens of other clubs, pubs, and restaurants.

Factor in having limited Japanese skills and it gets even tougher.

I mentioned using your smart phone and google maps to find places of interest. I decided to provide a few more notes on doing that.

Below are a couple lesser known newhalf show pubs in the Shinjuku Kabukicho/Ni Chome neighborhood and a few tips on finding them.

You can copy & paste the Japanese addresses for each club below into Google Maps on an iPhone and it works.

I have found that it is much less a hassle when going to a new place in Tokyo, if I spend a few minutes studying my intended route and looking at Google street view before I head out for the evening.

Note, that if you hit street view it will show you daytime photographs of the same block, but seldom show you the entrance to the club you are looking for; you will likely have to use the zoom function in street view to go around the block until you find the door.

Keep in mind that things look a little different at night, that is why it is always wise to memorize the particular club's sign before you head out for the evening.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: In some of my recent web searches of Japanese sites, I have seen comments on forums that indicate some show pub performers are available for P4P after closing. The best looking girls usually want ¥ 50,000 (USD 500). I would be careful about a flat out proposition, unless you have some specific intel on a particular girl. Frankly, if you are looking to pay for it, you are better off going to a delivery health.

I can only take so much of show pub cabarets, but checking out a couple and using it as a chance to network and establish contacts in the scene is worthwhile.

NIGERIAN TOUTS

I spoke of these guys briefly in the first post, but they deserve a mention again since the places above will take you through Kabukicho. Even if you are lost, try to walk with a purpose and minimize any facial expressions or body language that indicates you don't know where you are going.

Be firm but politely decline ANY assistance from these guys. While some might appear friendly, chances are they will lead you to a place other than your destination, if you accept their help finding something.

They can also be very annoying but it is best to keep your cool and only say, "no thank you," if you say anything to them. I snapped at one of them my first time wandering through Kabukicho and was surrounded by three more almost instantly. Luckily, we were insight of a police patrol and I was able to walk between two of them without anything happening.

I have read varying accounts of the police trying to get rid of these guys in the run-up to the 2020 Olympics, but I suspect they will continue to be a fixture.

There is some great Japanese porn out there and the spectrum of it is so broad that it is mind boggling. It is frustrating that some of the most erotic videos are pixelated.

One of my favorites featured two hot girls who cracked a raw egg and passed it back and forth while kissing. The description sounds gross, but they managed to pull it off without it being gross on screen.

How they get away with some of the public sex videos, I'll never know.

Here is another semi regular newhalf party in Osaka.

From the description on the website it sounds like the Propaganda Party in Tokyo.

Maybe a bit more of a cross dresser event, but I think there would be transgenders there also.

japanese AV are great, pity it is seldom available in real life.
I know porn is acting but in Japanese AV all seems so natural and the girls really into it, whilst in western porn all looks pretty much fake and set up. A clear sign the Astros do not give a damn on what they are doing. in Japanese porn the girls seem to enjoy and like what they do, they add passion on pleasing the man.

There are a fair amount of Japanese girls (GGs) who apparently have watched their share of Porn movies and emulate the stock-standard AV actress squealing and screeching during sex.

Not all of Japanese girls do it, but enough of them do it for me to mention it here. I had a very active sex life in Japan and I would have to say that the Japanese do not attach the concept of guilt to sex that Westerners do.

This is puzzling, because in many aspects of life, the Japanese are conservative and very reserved. Get your average prim and proper office lady in the bedroom and chances are, she'll turn into an adventurous sex partner.

Wild porn movie plots aside, the Japanese attitudes toward sex do not have the tremendous amount of sin and guilt that my Protestant upbringing attached to sex.

For instance, I would have to say that Japanese girls are much more likely to share you with their girlfriends than a western girl. I'm not talking about ménage a trois, but giving her girlfriend permission to seduce you.

I had that happen to me once and I have another friend who said something similar happened him. After a night of partying, we came home with her best friend in tow. At one point my girlfriend says that she is sleepy and I get up to go to the bedroom with her and she says, "stay up and talk to Chigusa."

It wasn't long before she was cuddled up next to me and we start kissing. I pulled away after a few seconds, and Chigusa says, "It's okay, she said I can try you."

I went for it and was nervous as hell the next morning, but my girlfriend just smiled at me and asked, "were you a bad boy last night?" It was never mentioned again, but Chigusa did show up at my apartment two more times that my girlfriend did not know about.

Once I dipped my toe into the newhalf scene, I often felt like I was getting pimped out and matched up with new partners, courtesy of the previous partner.

I really dig this girl, her name is Chiaki Takamatsu, and she is usually a fixture at the propaganda party. Very bubbly and charming, but hard to chat up because she is in involved in running the party sometimes, and I think she is a rep for a shop that sells Cosplay outfits and accessories at one of the booths.

I smiled and said hello to her as she was walking past and she just blew me a kiss and kept on going.

She also works at a newhalf Maid Cafe called New Type in Akihabara.

Maid Cafés are one of those weird Japanese things associated with Manga. The Maids (waitresses) call the customers master or mistress and draw cutesy pictures with chocolate syrup on pieces of cake for you.

I don't think going to a Maid Cafe would be that useful in picking up newhalfs or girls; because they usually have a set of etiquette rules that you don't ask the maids for their personal contact information. However, you probably could gather intel on other bars were newhalfs hangout.

Still, it might be worth checking out as it is one of those quirky Japanese things that will make you laugh.

I couldn't decipher too much about what goes on at New Type from their website except that they serve food, cocktails, coffee, and desserts.

EDIT: I found a YouTube video that takes a peak inside:

They have some real cuties there and if you are young and handsome enough, who knows? You might be able to set something up for later.

Take a look at the New Type website: http://newtype.ms/cast.html
