it takes along time to write as I am pretty stupid, and if no one can be bothered to write a comment, I certainly cannot be bothered to post another days adventure.

It would be a shame if you gave up due to a perceived view that others aren't looking or reading. Sometimes people enjoy the thread but don't have anything pertinent to add, so sit back and quietly enjoy.

My two threads "The Last Millenium" and "Cambodia: The Year of the Rabbit" get very few comments, but I still soldier on in the hope that someone's reading and perhaps enjoying it, or at least some of it. But if not, nevermind, I'll continue anyway. It can be time consuming, but that's something I have spare of at the moment.

Flexxy, I've been loving your thread and sincerely hope you don't give up on it. Having done several TRs myself, I can only tell you that comments seem to come in waves. Sometimes things I've written and pictures I've posted that seemed the best to me, get no comments at all. OTOH, other things that seem the worst of my material get the most comments. Why? Who knows? Everyone's different.

DC, I've really enjoyed both your 'non standard' threads very much. I haven't had much to say more out of regret and embarrassment, than anything else. Sincere regret that my very first trip to Thailand was in 2005, so that I missed that sense of things before it became the tourist trap it is now. And, embarrassment that I've seen next to nothing on my 'single' trips to SE Asia, except visit the flesh pots. But, your reports have, I really hope, inspired me to get out and about quite a bit more on my future trips.
