Getting so drunk and passing out in a deluge, in the middle of the street, to the amusement of local Thais, expats and tourists from around the world, all of whom are taking your picture to post on the Internet for posterity so that even your grandchildren won't be letting you live this down?

I also caught up with Sonya in Linda Bar -- in a word, "wow!" Teppis, if you read this, you were right on the money man, she is a charmer, that one, as well as a looker. And even though I didn't bar fine her last night, to be sure, I will -- in fact I decided I needed a guide to help me find Jomtien Beach this week, and Sonya said "I know someone who can be your guide. In fact I know a *ladyboy* who can be your guide."

"Who might that be," I asked, incredulous, playing along. "Is she pretty?"

"Oh yes, very pretty," she said, very serious and solemn.

"Well who is she?"

She did a little bar-stool pyrouette and said "Me, of course!" and flashed a million dollar, 1,000-watt smile -- not to mention that 40,000 baht flawless cleavage.

Yeah, this one might be trouble. And her English really is that good.

Yep, i'm reading this mate, and i'm glad that you find Sonya attractive as i did. Treat her well and you surely will have good time... also outside of hotel room if you want so.
She also loves being photographed as long pics will stay decent (i.e no porn/action pics).
BUT remember, you been warned... she can put spell on you

No, this wasn't the Mullet that Ate Phuket, but if you look back through the Famous thread, I believe BB captured him in all his follicular glory, smoking a hookah. Seriously, this guy looks cool though -- I come from the American MidWest, so I don't say this lightly. In fact, he looks so cool I wanted to by him the Camaro that naturally goes with his hair. And as I say, he is a nice chap.

I saw a guy (assuming American) with a mullet almost of that size in Walking Street in April. Unfortunately his scantily clad female companion looked about 12, at the most. Luckily a group of Chinese tourists chased him off.

@ Petesie: yeah, everywhere you go here the last few days, you see people clustered around TVs looking at images of the flooding in the north. And it's coming down here in Patts even as I type. Although I single-handedly held the worst of the rain off until 4:30 a.m. by taking my umbrella along with me tonight.

@ DK: thanks -- glad a seasoned vet such as yourself is enjoying it, as I've gleaned some good advice from your comments and trip reports many times over, over the years.

@ BB: Yes, that's him!

@ Teppis: yeah, I've no doubt Sonya puts a spell to one degree or another on just about all of her customers.

@ Kendo: sketchy peeps on Beach road at the time of night, to be sure. I suppose there are many worse places to pass out. And Buddha knows I did equally stupid stuff when I was kid -- just not that public, thankfully.

Now as for the G12, it (among others) got some action tonight. More tomorrow, but that's it for now. Tata wore me out and it's bedtime for this bonzo (following a beer and takeout from Kiss Food).

Oh, Teppis one more thing: I told her straight away the other night when I met her that the reason I sought her out was the kind things someone I knew via the Internet had said about her, and the amazing photos he posted of her. She asked me his name, and I explained I only knew the name he used online, which was Teppis.

She said, "Ah, Teppis," and got a big smile on her face. Looks like you made an impression yourself.
