Thank you for your Candid response Pacman. I do differ in opinion somewhat but I do agree that it is good to have someone who ensures a more balanced discussion.
You're welcome & thank you.
Regarding the ownership issue: If he is just property owner then I withdraw my comments. However if he also owns the business that operates the bar then he has to take some responsability IMO. I don't believe that not being able to enter the property because if title issues is an excuse.
The management ultimately has to wear the responsibility for everything that happens inside the bar. Why else would they have invested heavily in a computerised bill system. Every drink can be accounted for with a signed docket that is then presented to the customer when they pay their tab. This was all set up in order to avoid accusations of over charging.
As I have mentioned before, I wish I was so well protected in other places.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree, because as you say, this bar is here to stay. Hopefully the behaviour improves but I can't see myself visiting the bar. A shame, because I have stayed in the hotel and it was fun and the staff were fine. Cheers Pacman.
I have stayed at the hotel several times & always felt welcome. If you never return to the bar, then it is your loss. I am sure one night you won't be able to resist the temptation to pop your head in to check out the girls..... & look at all the unhappy customers...
As for the behaviour, Riga will talk to the girls & things will improve. It always does. But all bets are off when the next drunken farang starts tossing 1000 baht notes around. Then every Thai in the place will once again be looking at how they can share some of the guy's wealth.
What would you expect them to do?
