Every day when i get off work i check my email and go straight to jims thread on here. to see all the fun that has gone on that night . and i am guessing many here do the same . now that jimbo has been run off from here i guess i will follow his thread on the other forum as it has the same posts about all the same bars . and i can still see all the beautiful lady's of C&D in jimbos post on their as he still posts on their just not on here any more.

A+ to you Jim for standing up for your self.

Sure Alaskan, but would you be so happy if the comments Jim made would have been about a certain group of alaskan visitors and their terrible behaviour? Not that I know that "alaskans" behave any different from other groups. And yes, I do know that it was a question ethnicity but the point Im trying to make is that a forum should be free of deragatory comments based on ethnicity etc etc.

I have no idea how the group Jim referred to behaved but that was one group of afro-french people and just because some English-fotballfans wreck havoc in the rest of europe I dont see all englishmen as idiots or not even all english fotballfans as hooligans.

And even if its hard as some forummembers have suggested we should all try to judge people as individuals.

cry all you want fellas, there are rules to be upheld here that we ALL have to follow.
if a mod decides a post is inapropriate and warrants deleting, then that is that.
we are all free , as grown men, to pick our ball up and run off crying that we dont want to play anymore if we so wish.

I'm an English speaking Canadian! And, I like think our level of English is much better on average than that of our neighbours to the South, or in AB's case the North-West. But then, two times zero is still zero...

This deserves it's own thread. But having said that, I am so tired of "political correctness." A friend at my former employer sent an email to all her friends wishing a Happy Hanukka. Human Resources deleted it and she was warned by them under fear of termination. I'm in Pattaya and I have developed a bias against some cultures. I understand Jim's comments. Generalizations are the problem here. I've seen some Americans (my people) who piss me off so bad I want to do violence (just a comment - never happens). Got pickpocketed by a Thai woman and a Russian man. Should I hate them all? No, but it adds to our memory and responses. Please stay here Jim. And thanks for the mods doing the job they have been assigned.

I cannot stand "PC" either, in the UK and Aussie it's gone well beyond it's original intention and positively discriminates against a select target area of the community.

The worldwide economic refugee situation is also completely out of control.

I know that Jim's intentions were sound and meant as a warning however his choice of a couple of words in the same sentence caused the issue, this was fueled by certain responses and as this is a public forum certain parts were deleted.

Jim is a Gent and despite having met him I'm still a fan...

I'm sure he'll eventually see past this and once more grace his own thread.
