Donut tells me she's off to P*****a today to meet a customer - for a month!

(Time for another rant!) - why the fuck do you take a girl like Donut to a shithole, for a month? And how about supporting her home bar for part of the time?

I hope i bump into them when i'm there for a few days next month - i'd be interested to see how he's doing, taking sand to the beach!

By rights if he's taking her away from the bar he should pay B/F shouldn't he? :redcard: Was talking to a guy on Sat night ( sorry no pics!!!) who had a girl from a place up there for 3 weeks and had to pay the whole wack. Quite right, with the revenue her home bar will lose with her being away. On a one b/f a night for 28 days ( not counting her numerous short times on top!!!) that's over 11k your out over the month, let alone bar drinks!!! :tantrum:

I agree with Ivor, Donut & BF seems to be bang out of order. Even worse a serious lack of taste about the destination.

:redcard:

2.5 years is much too long but I have to include it in a business trip and those are a thing of the past at the moment. When I was there Ae, Sonya, and Bombay were still with you. I crossed paths with the Deno and Duke 007 one night with Sonya draped all over him.

I remember Donut's first day........

........must get back

So the girl is given the opportunity to take a break from the usual place of work for a month with a paying punter in her country's premier seaside tourist resort and that makes her out of order :?

Jimbo never mentioned the bar fine and sure in these circumstances the bar should be compensated to some degree I would have thought.

But but but.....in a city of hundreds of ladyboy sex workers, many of them beautiful creatures, I too struggle with the logic of importing one, but hey.........we are all different in both taste & methods.

Giving Donut a break is not the issue surely. Depriving Jimbo of income is.

I never questioned the Donut side of things if you read what I said- its the punter taking her away and not compensating the bar for the loss of income I was commenting on. How you extrapolated this into suggesting I'm making HER out of order makes no sense. She regularly disappears on extended jaunts and always comes back having enjoyed herself- good luck to her but there IS a price to pay.

If i were to take coals to Newcastle I would expect to compensate the bar but I'm a short time kind of guy anyway and more than a day with one would drive me nuts!!! :loco:

I agree with the first paragraph, but not the second.

Presumably the boyfriend communicated only with her and she made a choice and informed the bar she wished to take a month off work.

If the bar doesn't like it then they should have given her options in terms of a continued job on her return or not, so she can make a choice. It's got nothing to do with the boyfriend, he should feel no guilt what-so-ever about taking her elsewhere, upto him.

whattafu*k!!

I'm very new here but I think we are making noise about nothing...

I was there yesterday in the very moment Jimbo discovered the sad truth...

I can guarantee you he's posting the message just to give the info and to have some fun as usual with the guys of the forum...

Phuket is plenty of wonderful lb, as well as pattaya, as well as all thailand, and there will not be any problem at all...

Of ocurse I can understand a little bit of sadness (that we will wash away with some drinks tonight) for the departure of one of the bests, especially to a place that "is not Jimbo favourite" (poetic license)...

beside that no problem at all, the party will continue as usual and nobody never talk about fines, compensation or other.... girls are free and this is it!! let her enjoy and let us enjoy with who is remaining...

easy does

I'd like to chime in on the Donut scenario from the perspective of doing something similar in my younger, more foolish days. First of all, lets cut the BF some slack and assume he doesn't know the rules. I have had couple of occasions to escort a 'Superstar' away from her work for a few days holiday. Only once was I told upfront that when she returned to work she would need to pay the bar fine for each night she was away.

As I see it, this is an employee/employer situation. Is she a free lancer or does she work for the bar? Can she come an go as she pleases or are there consequences for running off on a whim? Maybe she gets regular vacation time, dental coverage and major medical? Who knows?

Jimbo, you know I love C&D's and put my money where my mouth is. If she truly is putting a dent in your revenue there probably should be some repercussions (ie she can pay to return to work or some other penalty). As a business owner I just don;t think you can have the inmates running the asylum.

Lastly, to PT. No comparison between Patts and Phuket. I know you're the Mayor of Patts and, by law, are required to defend it. But really... it IS a shit hole :imho:
I don't mind you coming here
And wasting all my time
Cuz when you're standing oh so near
I kinda lose my mind, yeah

Of course.

Disregarding the boyfriend's intended choice of destination, as that is subjective, what is wrong with taking a girl away from the bar for a week or a month etc.?

Rather than dirtying this thread, perhaps we need another where it can be discussed and/or explained as to what the suggested method is for customers with regard to such practices. It doesn't seem clear for some.

As Slappy alluded, he (was) and apparently others are unaware of the correct procedure.
