I didn't get to see this infamous Joe Harper post that I was falsely accussed of making. Was that you? Rxpharm said he was going to retract his this charge in his post. I guess an apology for the slanderous remark is out of the question I guess we can understand why he would "Go ovewr the top" with wild allegations.

I think the Admin, went the wrong way about this!

As this new VIP section is mainly made up of peoples personal reports and photos, which is the main hub of this forum, and was contributed and built up over the years for free. Now finding their contributions moved to a paid section where they cannot excess their own work without permission of the contributor.

It should have been the other way around ..... The VIP section should have been started off blank, then a request made to join and move their contributions too that section, leaving the choice up to the members ......... not the way it was done here, and would have been a bit more diplomatic.

I have no gripe about the money, if you need it .... you need it!

And thinking that this will solve the 'hero' problem ...... think again!

All LOS related forums (not just LB forums) with FREE VIP/Advanced sections are having the same 'hero problem' the past year. And the finger points mainly too the members who have exclusive status, as they are free to read all sections, and the information that is past on is mainly from these exclusive sections. So to think that these hero's are lurkers, newbies, or just members is a myth.

Lastly... if a member pays a years subscription, and a month later finds himself banned because he has said the wrong thing and up set one of the mods........ will he be REFUNDED?

Not sure if quoting a post from TLF is allowed, if not feel free to delete it. Thought it brought up some excellent points about the heros and refunds when Stogie gives someone the boot. Would you give this man your credit card details? One of his flunkeys already PM'ed me here today saying "We have your real address"

I hadn't read the question properly - and No - I would not pay to access and certainly would not contribute to a 'pay' forum.

No-one will commercially benefit from my brain and my knowledge without me being compensated for. So I wouldn't write one line of text to such a site.

And I contribute to this forum to share information and just the love of sharing my experiences. I'd hate to think someone’s getting financial gain for that. I don't want money for my discussions and don't see why others think they have the right to charge for my own incites. Terrible !!

Lets see yesterday the TLF spin factory accused me of being Joe Harper on TLF a site I cannot even get on, and Pom Pom over here. Alledgedly Joe Harper had same IP as Pom Pom or so the story went. This was debunked when Pom Pom came forward and Rxpharm has since retracted these allegations as he found they were totally FALSE. You sir have no credibility. LOOK at the post above yours. He has about 1500 more posts than you and a thing called credibility. More importantly read the message. Read all the message besides mine and you tell me which forum has more consideration for its members.

So go back to TLF where guys who rationally question pay memberships are called names, posts deleted or even banned. You have represented your forum well, in typical TLF fashion. You are just another reminder what people can expect over there.

If you are who you claim to be then why don't you explain how you get so much "inside" information about boarhog and perhaps other infidels concerning TLF. And why you sent pm's like we have your ID etc. What are your motives?

Yes I know you can ask me the same questions. Well dear Keyser I made it clear after this show is over I won't bother lb69 anymore. In fact I truly regret I had to do it this way. But King Stogie left me no choice. Neither did brother RX.

I was clear about my motives. The guys who run the privacy department at TLF badly mixed up things there. RXpharm was one of them. Let that be clear. The wrong person suffered more severe than boarhog. Clearly to hit . All for an ego trip created by a pitiful person called Stogie.

I can't turn back the clock but at least the guys who did will have to face their deeds. Boarhog was clever enough to seal off his private life. Because TLF won't stop at anything. I hope that is clear now.

TLF is dying on it's feet - the number of posts there are dropping rapidly whilst at the same time the number of obnoxious arseholes is increasing.

I enjoy some of the guys posts and comments for example TTChang but I have never come across so many arrogant unpleasant and agressive people in one spot for a long time.

I asked for all my posts there to be deleted as one can't do it oneself - not surprisingly my request was ignored.

Couldn't agree more Eric. The "admins" at TLF are a gang of jerks that seem to enjoy beating up on anyone that's not part of their club, they act like a pack of wolves who try to separate you from the hurd and then pick you apart peace by peace. Some of them seem to really like getting drunk then posting really nasty shit. Notice that the mods/admins will never say anything to defend one of the regular members when another mod/admin has gottin into a fight with the regular member, no matter how out of line the mod/admin has been.

Some of my favorite posters aren't on there anymore and although I still post every once in a while, I never know what to expect as a response even if its just a nice friendly post I left.

No way Ill pay for membership. And the "new owners"????? Don't make me laugh.

I understand the reason behind TLF's change - some people showing photos/trip reports to those LBs featured in the report. This lead to the BM requesting removal of their trip report - what would a Forum be without Trip Reports.

There was a big debate, over on TLF, on how to resolve the issue and the outcome was a 'Pay for view' VIP Forum.

I agree that an annual subscription will deter the 'casual' user and probably most of the LB community - they will not pay 50 Bucks for access. Will it stop those people showing LBs the reports/photos - probably not BUT it will become more transparent which BM is doing so as the number of 'Paid Up' members will be smaller.

Rosco, this is bullshit and you know better. The whole idea of restricting the trip reports to "protect" the posters was cooked up by Stogies too put money in his pocket and has nought to do with keeping ladyboys from seeing there pics in trip reports. Plenty of board members objected and had great arguments against this idea and you and the other admins pushed it through or deleted there comments to make it look like everyone thought it were good idea.

This is just greedy Stogie finding one more way to be a jerk to the members and thinking where stupid nuff to happilly pay for the privlige.

THatll be the fugging day... I think that's the next level of memership up from the "VIP" - for an additional $50 a year you also don't get your ass chewed out by the admins/mods just for posting. Actual respect though... dont think you could by that on TLF even if you wanted to.

Yes, there are some decisions related to money - if the trip report writers stop posting photos that attract people to the forum because of heroes - and those of you who dismiss it are dreaming as it has affected more than TLF, and you have less people wanting to subscribe to pay sites, what is the solution? Fold the site and slink away?

No easy answer, and the process is still evolving at TLF.

Rxpharm, as a "Super Admin" on TLF site your obviously one of Stogies best pals. It goes without saying that you have a conflict of interests so all your comments should be takin with a grain of sand, since your ultimate goal is of coarse to justify the greedy actions of Stogiy.

I agree that you are a reasonable guy but your selling your integrity by trying to sell us stogies bullshit.
