You've just scratched the surface of things to do in Patts........as I'm sure the BM's will remind you...............beaches, islands, clubs, pubs, restuarants, cinemas, shopping, sightseeing......etc......
Hope to catch up with you next month........your bills permitting
Great to hear you had a great time mate.............. ;-)

Yes that is Soi Buakhao. Here is Pook Swan and Blue Room is two doors down. With so many times I have been in Pattaya I have never been in POokswan and Blue Room...wich remain in soi Buakhao...the street between 2nd and 3rd road..correct????
Sorry but I have to give you a little crap here. You never went to one of the monger wonders of the world Soi 6? Pook Bar Soi 6 is open in the front and back. And located next door to the majesticI don't like how far apart the venues are, and hate catching Baht Buses.
I haven't seen alot of what is on offer - didn't do the Soi 6/6.1 gauntlet, Beach Road, or get back to many of the venues we hunted out on the first day, but I'm really not that bothered. I was happy with the routine, and venues we seemed to stick with.

The sheer number of different venues in Pattaya, and the distance between them (which isn't as far as you make out you lazy git!) is one of the main attractions of the resort - for many of us.
You also hit Pattaya during a very quiet period, if you arrived closer to Christmas/New year, I'm sure you'd find more LBs and meet a lot more BMs.
The problem with Phuket and Bangkok, is often finding yourself on the same street, in the same bars and starring at the same people night after night.
You can't beat heading out for a night in Pattaya with no idea of where you will end up.. Will I be wandering inoscently down soi 6 at 4 am .. Will I be in Sally's or Family Bar with a large group of BMs polishing off a bottle of sangsom ... Will I be in a 3rd Road Karaoke, or Walking Street disco, or naked dancing to Foreigner in Ezy Bar .. Or sitting with BB on the benches by Sunee watching the world pass by .. Will I wake up on the floor of a filthy LB room, starring up at Bom

Adding to what Xyzzy has righly said, I think you did miss out on many venues (many open air). I find it takes at least 2 or 3 trips for most people to 'get their head around' Pattaya, and there are so many LBs to be found in so many other places, beer bars, cabarets, discos etc..
