No worries Stevie, Your word is gold about what happened while you were there. Others positive experiences doesn't change what you saw nor does it change the way you were treated.

Karl does such a great job of promoting his girls and promoting the bar here. I'm surprised by his reaction to some new customers. First impressions often go a long way. Its unfortunate he didn't afford you the same courtesy as other customers and BM. At the end of the day its his loss. Maybe he can afford to do that in his business I don't know. However it seems that resting on the beauty of the girls alone isn't enough these days.

I also wondered why you guys hadn't reported anything from Ezy bar as well. now I fully understand why. I know you don't have any kind of agenda except for having a fun night out, and from what you saw and experienced that wasn't conduscive of that.

I think it was just an unusal off night at Ezy. I had a very negative experience with a ladyboy at my first visit to Pook Swan and swore I would never go back there and did not on that trip but decided to go back on a later visit and had a great time, so don't let one bad experience stop you from returning. I've had some great evening's in Ezy bar.

Guys, I'm away in Frankfurt with work at the moment, but just wanted to say thanks for the kind words about the TR.

I really made an effort to get one done, to I suppose give something back to this forum, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Having read FB's TR I solemnly swear to make sure that I complete the same for my next upcoming visit in Feb - my last to be honest would be far too boring consisting as it did as spending waay too much in lady drinks at C&D and then waking up at 4.00pm the next day with what appeared to be a super model sprawled across me and I must say hogging a little more of the 1.2m x 2.4m bed than at first glance appeared to be fair.

And then doing it all over again.

But in future I will keep a diary and report back. Apparently I promised a trip to Hong Kong to someone who was more sober than myself when the terrible words were blurted out - and as we all know if you want to earn brownie points in LB land it's best not to lie and always keep your promises.

I've spent dozens of hours in Ezy and the only knife action I've ever seen is the slicing of lemons.
Not suggesting it could never happen tho' :|

But regarding Karl's apparent indifference to the presence of BMs; once people get to know him they quickly realise his style is not that of demented chimp jumping up and down with a big grin on his face welcoming each and every punter through the door, but that of a more relaxed and laid back host who's focused on keeping the tunes and videos flowing (rather than simply bunging on the same CD every night) and lets the quality of his girls do the talking.

Personally I like that approach and can easily spend several hours alongside him at the bar chatting and suggesting tunes and listening to LB and Thailand related gossip, whether true or not, as he's a good local oracle with an interesting insight into the scene both past and present... If you can hear him over the music, that is ;-)
