Petesie's "As It Happens" Trip Report 23

The cab drives round the back of the Main Pier building and a smiling hostess explains what's on offer..............we park our bums in the decorative Tuk Tuk with onboard flashing lights and we are driven past all the Japanese tourists to the end of the Pier and we are escorted into our waiting Motorboat by grinning boatmen................

A short trip to the Oriental Star and we are led up on deck where a live band is playing and we are shown to our seats..............as usual the punters are gawking at our Katie and if I was in their place I would do so too.................we order drinks and food and enjoy the ambience...........the food is quite good and we relax and enjoy our evening.....................a LB show from Alcazar starts onboard at 10 PM so a couple of LB's are in attendance............Katie enjoys a chat with one who she tells me used to work in Pooks a couple of years ago............

The band have a dig at me with my beautiful lady so I politely smile and have a fleeting mental image of them going down playing as the boat disappears into the depths of Pattaya Bay........................................................................

We return to shore having enjoyed our evening and I have the pleasure of escorting Madam down past the Throng of Walking Street into the Soi BJ and the big Ezy........................................
