Hi all,

for anyone looking to get a bit more from their camera: google: 'short courses', then go to 'book store'. Unlike your camera manual, the books here are more instructional/how to help you get the best results. The reviews are very good too.

You will find a list of most camera models there & can D/L the 'books' as a pdf or get a printed copy sent to you. I'm currently waiting on the S95 book to come out.

I've read 3 different reviews of this wee beast now and they all seem to focus on finicky issues rather than the quality of the camera and the pictures it takes..the Canon G11 set pretty high standards which Nikon has worked hard at to match if not better in some areas...

I shall attempt to use it in anger real soon and report back....
