ORr even better buy Panasonic TZ7, it has few additional goodies but most of all, even wider lense (25mm TZ5 "only" 28mm) and better movie recording compression if you like to record some loom action you want to keep as a souvenir.

Camera's are 4 taking pictures christs sake, same goes 4 mobile phones, they should stick to texting/phone calls.
Ive got a low milage camera, cost me 600quid, and i couldn't even bother to use it when i spent the night with areeya, (fatal mistake on my behalf) id give my right arm for that video now
I also have super duper HD camcorder... I never used in my life . On the other hand TZ5 is small enough to put into front Levis 501 pocket and movies are in 720p HD and surprisingly good for such a small camera.

ask robby, 2 posts above, if you can have his super duper hdd camcorder
he even admits he's never used it, and im sure he would appreciate it going to a good home
I just have to ask my GF if she is ok with that... not. Some things are best left hidden in deepest closet.
