A few more pics

Yellowmenace, Rickard, Pat Tire, Monkeyman, Entrox, Snick and many others showed up for Kwang and gorged themselves on the roast pig.

The look on some of the regulars at the Legless Arms was priceless.

One guy (on his first visit to Pattaya) said - "I thought they would all be like drag queens with hairy legs and 5 oclock shadow - these are f... gorgeous"

Thank you Rossco for all you have done here. Your efforts are far and beyond the normal call of duty!!!

How sweet .. what a tenderness … Is it a love-letter? You’re a sentimental mate.

Now seriously:
Sam … You haven’t a slightest idea about the “bas-fond” of running a place like this.
I know what you’re going to say: “You too Franck, see what happened with you”.
Not exactly Sam, as the reasons were quite different.

Hey! I pretend to be constructive here, okay?

Believe me or not, I feel sorry for you about the way “they” close your establishment, besides I was expecting so.

Unfortunately there’s more to come if you don’t have the skills to provide “them” what they want (translation – monthly money).

If you don’t make a serious negotiable agreement with “the capos”, sooner or later, one way or another, “they” catch you again and again.
I made that kind of deal when I was “punished” the first time, remember?
After that - “love and peace”, “they” never disturbed me again.

If not works and if you’re really pissed off, you always have the chance of selling the bar to Gareth …
Cheers

PS 1 - rossco, you used to harm the 131’ ex-owner about the staff – “Who’s on salaries”, “Who’s freelancer”, bla bla bla.
Laugh in your recent update! (Only 2 days ago) a lot of “visitors” and names to speck of the dust in one eyes to increase the numbers though, for instance Nicky and Porn!!! Ah ah, you mean Porn the cashier?
So… who is on the salaries? Who freelances?
I suggest to be posted individual profiles and pics

PS 2 – One of Franck’s pseudonyms – The Portuguese “filipef”, will be at La Bamba by tomorrow.

“That’ special seat and particular kind attention will be pretty appreciated

Cheers,
S

It's good to see you now have OIL on board. She was Xyzzy's favourite Minou Bar girl, and one of the better LBs they had, very nice girl.

She's second from left, bottom row in the group shot.

Sinistrus.
Thanks for the constructive feedback.

La Bamba along with 6 other well established (GG) bars were closed at 12.30am on Friday evening. 10 bars in Soi Post Office (13.2) were also closed.

Not all bars were closed for the same reason. A force of 10 officers made the investigations that evening and visited all bars in 13.1 and 13.2

The closure was enforced NOT by BIB but the licensing authority under orders from City Hall (the Amphur - Pattaya district commissioner's office). The license issued to La Bamba was incorrect - even though Sam employed a lawyer to obtain the license. The cashier/lawyer and manager will all be at City Hall on Monday to rectify any problems.

This is not the usual "backhander" to capos that you refer to but a technicality not recognised when the license was requested/issued in late December.

Re BIB. Bars are closed or fined for various reasons - this list is not ALL the requirements but the main ones:

Non-Copyright music is only one - the problem 131 had in the early days.
Imported alcohol (duty not paid).
Displaying appropriate license for both liquor/cigarette sales and entertainment.
Security camera with loop recording installed and working
Copies of ID's (not mandatory but advisable)
Conforming to "opening hours" 1.30am/2.00am in Soi 13.1
Leaving door/curtain partially open - a different license is required for a closed in bar.
No visible nudity/obscenity

Sam has been diligent in abiding by the rules imposed.

Re Staff. My post was a listing of ALL the persons at La Bamba during January - it did not imply "staff" nor "freelancer".

The cashier provided the list and I apologise for including Porn the cashier. At least it was comprehensive.

Nicky was working out of La Bamba for the first few days and has now moved to the Kitten Club in Soi 13.4

There are 6 employees on salary and, as I have stated on other posts/threads, supplemented by freelancers.

Every freelancer has to show their ID card and leave a copy at the bar. Freelancers are only permitted to work out of the bar after screening/approval by the manager/cashier. Many have been refused for a variety of reasons.

I will try to keep the list up to date but, as I am sure you are aware, from your own experience, it is difficult to keep track.

If forum members prefer not to be updated with a "who is who" then I will refrain from providing that information. I am unable to provide more personal information as I do not get personally involved with the staff.

Last night Kwang's birthday party could go ahead because of the good relations that Sam has made with neighbouring bars. You can see from Kwang's birthday "money garland" how well it went - many people also delivered gifts.

I hope that answers all your questions - if you have any other professional advice please advise Sam as he is the official owner of the new La Bamba.

Bloody typical , the fugitive returns only to make fun of others trying to make an "honest living" .
Not really helping your case is it?

Well it is so nice to chat with you on this forum Franck. I do appreciate that you are trying to be helpful. If Franck will be coming as warned on the 27, I'm afraid La Bamba will be still closed. But if FilipeF/Franck/Sinistrus will be arriving in Pattaya I am so sad that I will not be there to personally welcome you back. Maybe we can make a "Welcome Back F" party and La Bamba will make up what we lost by closing these few days.

Cheers

I regret I was not able to spend part of my last day in Pattaya this trip at La Bamba but I was able to pass by for a moment to wave and say goodbye to some of my LB friends before I left and I was able to attend Kwang's birthday celebration the previous night. I have a few photos I hope to post later as soon as I get my missed work caught up.

Sorry you couldn't make it to be there, Sam, but Rossco was a nice guy to welcome me. Ask him about how i look same-same like Frank in his youth! :D
PS- When are you coming back?

Cheers.

Wow, I'm so fuckin' lost. Can I please get a program to identify all the players? Sounds like someone is pretending to be someone else and is posting comments to himself.

Do I have that right
