As mentioned previously I am interested to hear SamplerDoc's side of the story however, I understand he has been advised by a respectable member of the expat LB lovers community to remain silent :? That I find surprising especially as now I am hearing that Pond was caught on a hotels security camera causing criminal damage to SD's motor cycle, although not sure at which stage of the aforementioned proceedings this occured

anyway Pond used wrong ways.
it is not wise in any country to repay a debt through violence, unless you are a gangster or something like sort of it.
if i try to force my debtor to return my money, using a knife a rifle or by destroying his property, very soon our police came and immediately they knock out my teeth and put in a monkeyhouse, even if i am 100 % right. And legal proceedings will be not good for me.

It's probably best we put the whole situation to rest now.

Perhaps this forum's view has been a little one sided as we didn't get to hear both sides of the story and I doubt we will now.

This has no doubt caused grief to Pond AND SamplerDoc, with neither coming out smelling of Roses, and I'm sure both have learned a lesson.
