Time to update my news.
I still have problems with insurance. When i left from Finland i thought that this will be easy task to find insurance but seems that it's not. Problem seem to be visa, if you are here with tourist visa, then there is no problem and you legal status is clear, you are TOURIST. However if you change it to ED visa, companies what i contact don't give insure people over 35 if they change visa from tourist to ED. I'm too old to be student
Sure i could take insurance from Bupa, and i will if everything else fails, but i still have couple companies to check. Search continues...
I went to gym... finally. First step to "normal" life. One month membership was 990THB and year 4900THB. I took one month. Reason... i'm not sure if i can be there whole year. Everything look nice when you look them far, but truth comes out near. Everything is covered with rust, there is absolutely no maintenance with machines and so on. It is for Muay Thai trainers, not serious weight lifters. Anyway it have one advantage, big one... it's near. But if i find better gym i will change for sure.
Some might remember when i told that i lost my Roundflash. Thailand seem to have company what sells them but their website has been "under construction" god knows how long. Anyway Sonya contacted them via their Facebook and their send her email where they said that they are web-based company without actual shop and they can send Roundflash to us if wanted. After few days they actually called her and asked if she was still interested. I was little bit suspicious because "web-based" company which web site has been down years, can't sell very much, right? I already lost 120€ for losing old one, i didn't want to lose 5000THB again. So i contacted company which actually makes these products and ask them if they still co-operate with their Thai distributor and they confirmed that it should be ok. Anyway i still feel little bit suspicious, but what i can do, i guess that i just have to try my luck.
We had great fun in Poppy's birthday party. Guys, guys... you should be there. Lot of pretty ladyboys to admire. Pics can be found here...

I told Scott to not smile but look little bit angry in his portrait. I think that we got quite good, masculine portrait and exactly of "mood" what i was looking for.

teppis, back in 2009, I found this in one of the Pantip Plaza camera shops. I am not sure if this is the same one Sonya found on line. I will see if I can dig up the name of the camera shop. If you do a trip to Bkk it would be nice to check it out before actually buying it. The price in 2009 was pretty cheap!

It's not same but in that price i could consider it (assuming that it fits in my camera/flash combo). Product what i'm talking about is this.

Many times when i open our fridge, it's more or less full of flowers and lemonade bottles what i can't drink because "they are for Buddha". Yep, there they are, taking place of "human food" but every time when i complain it, Sonya just says "Hsss..."
I've been thinking how much money and good food this country lose every day for keeping "spirits" happy. Must be millions, every single day. You all have seen those red bottles and bowls of food, you know what i mean. Well, rats surely have feast every night.
Sonya got good news from work yesterday. Her boss asked if she wanted promotion. It seems that she is going next step in her career and i feel very proud about her. Hopefully this also shows in salary.
I had "date" in Sensations with another BM because he wanted to give some snooker lesson dvd to Sonya. I took my camera with me, but got only few pics. At first bar was pretty much empty of girls, then suddenly it was too full to take any pics, hour later i was almost empty again because girls got customers and left. I decide that i'm not gonna get any pics and just packed my camera to bag, but Am sees it so she shout "why you didn't take any pic about me?"... so, camera out of bag, lens, flash, reflector... all again. But it was fun.
Bella told that she got also new (for her) Canon 600D but she don't know how to use it so she decide that i have to teach her. So seems that i have to there today and try to teach her how to use camera. Interesting.

Well, life surely is exciting now. Words like "military coup, curfew" are quite alien words for Finnish citizen. As long as i don't hear gunshot outside, i guess everything is fine

Hi guys
It's been some time since i wrote last time so here are my latest news...
Life hasn't been very excited in last few days. Or maybe it was, but wrong way. I got diarrhea and only "excitement" was that am i fast enough to run toilet before explosion comes. Not very funny situation. Anyway i'm hoping that now i'm going better...
Insurance.
Well, this has been much more problematic than i thought but now i found suitable insurance what does everything what i want. Hopefully.
At the end winner was WorldNomads (ihi Bupa).
It wasn't cheapest choice, but only one which actually fulfill all my needs. Most important was that if something really nasty happens, i don't get stuck in Thailand but they pay transport back to Finland. Either dead or alive.
This is travel insurance and even i speak everywhere that "i live in Thailand" it's only "de facto". "De jure" i'm still officially living in Finland and this is only extended trip.
School
As my last month started, i had to go school to get ED visa. There are so many choices and none can say what is best, so i just search from internet what people says about them and my choice was Pro Language. I paid deposit of 15.000THB and made paper work so process has started. They say that it will take about two weeks until they get answer from ministry. So everything should be in order now...
I haven't been out (nightlife)... erm.. don't even remember last time. But i have decent excuse, we have military coup and curfew here. Only thing is that it doesn't seem to affect in any way to normal life. Only nightlife seems to suffer. It seems that they consider to let places like Pattaya to get back in normal because of tourism. Hopefully this happens soon. It's difficult to believe that some sort of riot could start from Pattaya when pretty much whole town is built for tourism.
Anyway i should drag my Canon out from room and start to take pics again... for your entertainment...
