Hey Moo,

Yeay felt like spending 4.5 weeks in Pattaya wouldn't be good for my liver or sanity ;)

Also love all the pictures from C&D and Jimbo seems to be an amazing guy so figured why not since I am allready in Thailand !

The whole cultural trip is also gonna be awsome ! Love to learn and explore not only about the fairer sex;), but also about our cultural heritage.

Anyways hope to see you in Phuket aswell !

Jahve

I don't do enough cultural trips, but I should be heading to Siem Reap in May.

Phnom Penh is quite a unique city with enough nightlife to keep your hunger for flesh alive. Just walking around some of the streets gazing at the French Colonial architecture and cafe culture is pretty cool, as well as visits to the Killing Fields and S21 which are tragically fascinating..

Yeah know what you mean !

Wish I had more time and money to travel around and learn more about different cultures and their history.

I will definatly visit both S-21 and Killing Fields, while beeing in Cambodia. Also want to see Angkor Wat a tourist trap but still worth checking out so I have heard !

Vietnam will be less sightseeing, was thinking about going to Halong Bay but a friend of mine said it was overrated. I guess it will all depend on how much time I will have.

Then as I said before end my vacation in LOS with some down and dirty time before flying back home.

Really looking forward to meeting up with you and Batman.

I am truly glad that I joined this forum and started writing ! Where else would I met such like minded and cultivated people ;)

Regarding Halong Bay and where to go, the best piece of advice I can give is to not listen to too much advice.

It sometimes pays to just go with the gut and head to places on instinct. Maybe Halong Bay will be your paradise. A lot of guys here love Pattaya but occassionally someone goes there and it's hell to them (although clearly those people are mentally disabled).

Someone told me not to go to Boracay because 'it wasn't the paradise it once was and was now way too over crowded.' I'd already bought my tickets and went anyway and had one of my best vacations of my life.

...and then Cambodia mostly to some cultural shit :) then rounding up my trip with Pattaya again before flying back to Sweden.

There's some culture in a non-mongering TR I did a few years ago centred on Cambodia which you might find interesting if you're planning on going. It formed a sort of prelude to my retirement in Pattaya.

Cambodia: The Year of the Rabbit

Sadly the forum changeover last year lost all of my picture comments (and those of others) which was a shame, but life goes on.

I will report here on this forum with my thoughts (with pics) on Boracay Island after my 8 night trip there next month

I remember staying on Bulabog Beach, a really nice resort and stunning stretch of sand. In the evenings we crissed the island to White beach (walkable) which was the place to be, especially around Station 2.

A few highlights of my trip were taking an ATV trip up the hill, and renting a boat for the day, getting cruised around the island, lunch on a remote beach and then a bit of snorkeling. I'll definitely go back some time.

While its all quite romantic and chillaxing, there are also quite a few LBs about, several were freelancing around Station 2, many were sitting on the beach and loitering around the beach-side bars. I remember one bar was/is called Summer Place and was the place to pick up girls and ladyboys late at night.

Hi DC,

I enjoyed reading your thread and appreciate the tip ! I was actually planning on going to Cambodia last time I was on an extended vacation, before a nasty bike accident ruined my plans...

By the way your pictures were still there :)

Even though I love the neonlights, the smell of stale beer, and the company of beautiful women ;) beeing alone with my thought, wandering, and exploring a new city can be just as exciting !

I not much of a writer but I will try to keep you all posted ones my journey begins, and hopefully met a bunch of you along the way :)

45yr old new member looking to pull the trigger on the confirm button for flight to LOS this June or July for 12 -14 days.  Hopefully I will not encounter any major finance issues , as I have been blowing off this trip for many years.  Mild experience with the occasional ts escort ( hit n miss ), and am comfortable in the few tranny bars I have come across here in the states.  ( one real good one in Ft. Lauderdale ).   It just eats at me to shell out $60 for a good lap dance or $300 for an hour.  Enjoy gambling it away instead.  Am looking forward to getting more bang for the buck in BKK and Pattaya.

Very impressed with the informative information and comments made by this forum members.  Will have to pay more attention to the names and giving out 'likes'.   That being said, I have a few questions from a newbie that I am, some of which are of the beaten track.  I will post/ask them on the newbie section.  Thanks.
