TOP TIP - In gogo bars the dancers number is often the best way to identify the girl you want. Many times guys have tried to find a dancer and not got the right name, or pronounced her name completely wrong. Thai is a tonal language and language barriers occur all the time. But, if you know the dancers number, you have a much better way of tracking her down. Just say to the mamasan, "Is Ploy #82 here tonight?" You will get a quick answer that way.

 

Another way of doing it is to remember the dancers number and look for the number on the mamasans white board. The columns on the left are the gogo dancers who are present in the bar. The column on the far right side is the "offs" or dancers who are bar fined.
