The party winds down around 3 am, and a group of us, TJ, Crackerjax, Farangbah and myself head to Linda's. No sign of anyone else, a couple of texts and we find out the remainder have gone to Famous. We drink up and follow them over.
At this stage many of the guys are in various stages of inebriation and things can only get strange. We grab a group of Iraqis off the soi and drag them upstairs to play pool. It's all good fun, and one guys hangs around after the others leave. Not sure if he realises he is in an LB bar.
At one stage I turn around and see an FM standing on the canopy above the entrance to Famous. Almost like in slow motion I run over to pull him back onto the terrace all the time expecting the plastic to crack and see him fall through before I can get to him. I call Juri, who is sitting nearby to give me a hand. Fortunately we manage to haul him back over the rail before he has a serious accident. He then commences to piss on the flower beds at the end of the terrace.
The night continues in this mad vein, with check bins being tossed off the counter and all the stools downstairs getting knocked over. You didn't have to be there.
The last of us leave about 7 am.

Blimey BB! What a scene you describe... standing on canopies, pissing in flower beds, knocking over bar stools!
Well done to you & Juri, it isn't a stretch to suggest your friend may have died without your help.
How others enjoy their time in LOS is no one else's business but I agree with you, I am glad I wasn't there. I miss some things about LOS, other things I don't miss at all.

I feel remarkably well for a guy who had been drinking for 10 hours straight only 5 hours ago. I reckon I have gotten of lightly compared to some others who for all I know are still out celebrating somewhere in town. The homing instinct kicks in and when I arrive at Chow soy there are not less than 9 FMs there for brunch plus the lovely May.
Everyone is looking the worst for wear, and war stories are compared to try to stitch the night together. After much reflecting banters, most of us, including myself head back to our rooms for some much needed afternoon catch up sleep.
At 5 pm I pick up NWs and got for a stroll along beach road, to get the last hour of daylight. We bump into Susie who does her best to seduce NWs, he is made of stronger stuff. A little furthere along towards WS we get chatting to another LB, the bespectacled and secretary looking Irene.
I call Jimslim/Soulboy and Ciobha/Badpress to see are there near town, and they say yea on the outskirts but stuck in traffic. By the time we reach Famous on our rounds, we bump into Ciobha who has just dropped his bags in the room and is heading to get some supplies in. He has that first day back, childish innocent excitement in his eyes, something Nancy will pound out of him in the coming weeks

We all plan to meet again at Chow Soy. Patrick, who has a fever and is shaking a lot, is heading home tonight, but manages to have an overlap hour with Jimslim and Ciobha who he is anxious to catch up with. The hour flies and soon he is gone to catch his flight.
We all head to La bamba, one of the stops the boys traditionally make on their first night in town. After that it’s on to Koyo7, where the girls seem more interested in the Miss Tiffany International competition than the schlong loving customers.
After a while we make our way to Linda’s to watch the passing show. Jimslim is eager to know if I have seen Tara about, which I haven’t, so I suggest popping into the Simon Complex on the off chance she has moved back there. Sure enough there she is at the bar, chatting to a guy, she acknowledges us, and Jim duly notes her in his mental notebook.
PD texts to say he is in Famous, it’s 2.30 by now and so we head up VC to meet him. The girls have all gone, and a while later Ninewives who has been over in Anaconda arrives along with Mardhi. We hang around till 5 am, the party the previous night being the main topic of conversation.
