I am not sure if I feel asleep or passed out, but four hours later I am awake again and cannot relax my mind. I pluck a Liptons ice tea from the fridge, wrap a towel around my expanding girth and make my way onto the balcony. Coincidently I am staying in the same room I stayed in for my final month last year. My eyes dart up and down the familiar section of Soi Buakhao that is home when I am in Patts and it is impossible to stifle a big grin, I am finally back where I belong, magic. I savour ever mouthful of the cool drink, with so many ideas flashing through my mind of what the coming days and weeks have in store.
I ring Ninewives and he tells me that after leaving me to hit the sack in the PBR he got a second wind and took a motorbike taxi back to WS to find some early morning company. Not that difficult to find at any time of the day apparently lol. We plan to have some food at Chow Soy on Soi Chayapoom, a favourite of mine from previous trips. Ninewives has never been there before and he seems pleased enough with the menu. He tells me he lost his glasses last night, last seen on the table in Koyo7.

I've just realised we might be missing out on the baby oil shots.....
Not many shots I'm afraid Petesie, except the Prang photos, from this trip, time was too short for any of that oily nonsense.

One drink later and it's time to continue my time killing, but by now there is just enough time for one loop down soi 7 and up 8, over Second, swing past the bars near Made in Thailand, and take the short cut beside those bars to Soi Buakhao and to Pooks for the next part of the evening.

Man, I can relate to that jetlag. Whenever I'm in LOS, it's a 12-hour time zone change, and as much as I want to quickly adjust and push through the jetlag, it takes me about a good 4 days to start feeling normal again. Damned if i don't try to hit the ground running each time i get there...then i'm a zombie.
Looking forward to more![/i]

Great job of capturing the mood of each fleeting moment BB. I appreciate the street-scene and beach photos, as those are the backdrop of adventures you are relating. I think they give the viewers of this thread a nice feel for what it's like actually wandering around Pattaya, seeing the many interesting things to see, as well as just photos taken inside the bars (though, those are obviously some of the highlight moments of the trip too). Nicely done.

Cheers Nix. Yea just trying to give a context to the whole thing, and showing some sights we are all familiar with around town.

I can see this is going to be a potential problem in every bar we go to for the rest of the trip, so I get one of the girls to write down ginger ale in Thai and we take a photo with the 2 cans. Now we can show it in every bar we go to, and eliminate any confusion that may arise, hopefully!!.
I scan the bar and notice it has changed a bit from last year, now having a second floor also. The music seems to have changed also and there are none of the catchy dance songs I usually hear around town. I don’t recognise any of the faces, except for the popular and sweet Bo, whom we beckon over to join us for a drink, flirt and a catch up. She is great company and never tries the hard sell. A couple of refreshments are consumed and it’s time to continue our travels around Gotham.

Great report BB, you're proving that quality time is always more important than quantity time.
