I wake up around 10 am, with only the crumbs of the chicken consumed a few hours earlier beside me in bed. I cannot get back to sleep so I grab an ice tea from the fridge and chill out on the balcony. I know my friend Dav26 (LB-69) should be in the country by now, so I call him and he informs me he is in Bkk, and will be in Patts tomorrow.
The sky is blue, I feel good and it's another day in fun town. I figure NW might be still on the job, so best to leave calling him until 12 or so. Call is made eventually, meet up arranged and before I know it we are dining in Chow Soy and planning today's adventure. After yesterday's exertion, we reckon we will take it easier today. As the weather is fine, this affords us the opportunity to try to walk to Naklua again, the trip that was cut short a couple of days earlier by the rain. And so it is, we head off along Buakhao, cut down Soi Honey, pass through Central and onto Beach Rd.

I just realized that Chow Soy is actually pronounced How Yo in Mandarin and means "Good Friend" restaurant - a very fitting name for that most friendly of burgs, Pattaya.
Cheers BB, enjoying your ramblings and wandering.

NW is curious about the LBs who live rough in the bushes and I tell him there was not much happening last year when I was there with Jimslim/Soulboy and Donnykey, but who knows. When we get to their abode, it is all very normal-ish, save for a few homeless enjoying the sunshine. By the time we reach Naklua it's now past 5 and there is no way we are going to make it in time by walking, so it will have to be a baht bus to speed things along. We stroll to the Dolphin roundabout and take one there along Beach road. NW bails out around Soi 13.1 to go home, and I stay on till the PBG.
I arrive on time, but Tanya calls to say she is running late. I had hoped to only be there for an hour, as I have to get home and showered and head over to Jomtien. She gets there about 6.10, and so it is a bit of a rushed drink and a chat. By the time the sunsets it's time to go. Short but sweet.
Some sunset shots from other occasions added.

When we get to Sally’s, Putytat (LB-69) and Rossco (LB-69,LBR) are already there. We grab a table out on the soi, good if there is any type of light breeze, and order some drinks and let the coming relaxing night roll. I am joined by Som, and again Bee sits herself beside NW. We spend the next few hours enjoying a bit of banter with the two guys, and flirting with the girls. Being our second night on the bounce in Jomtien, I am realizing that it is becoming my favourite place to hang out when in Pattaya. With Hot Legs and Bar 54 thrown into the mix, there is a nice little chilled out bar circuit for anyone who makes the effort to travel over the hill.
