My first visit to Patong was in 1988 and I've been racking my brain trying to remember when the podium went up on Soi Croc; I remember it began as a round base with a pole to advertise the Simon Cabaret but then freelancers took over in the middle 90's...anyone help on the history of this?

If somebody has to do it as we cannot leave this heavy task to poor Jimbo all the time then indeed i am willing to volunteer ... but rather be the test-driver then the drivee for Nikka ....
Buckets of liquid were indeed consumer Jimbo ... but a great nice was had with Patricia ... she is blossoming into a real enjoyable companion ... with a great sense of humor as well ... although when drinks are consumed she becomes more difficult to understand ... her english goes to tinglish ...

Walt, I concur with Jimbo. For a place to stay look on the thread for Phuket. The summer Breeze, Baipho, C&N, expat are all guest friendly and can arrange for pickup at the airport. Just stop by C&D and be prepared to be in Paradise. PM if you need any help.

I will be lodging at the Royal Phawadee, been told it's 10 mins walking from the paradise..
I'll be there very soon...
let's pray for the sun... cuz I will really love to spend some days on the beach with some of these angels....

Royal Phawadee looks lovely Walt, and is only a few minutes to Bangla. However i don't know what their policy is regarding "visitors". Did you check?

Monday Night
I arrived early, as i had one or two issues to resolve with Patricia & Donut, plus a chiding for Jen for missing her assignment on saturday night.
That done, i settled in to admire the view, and noticed newbie Boo.
20 yrs old, fresh from the farm, and a friend of Pem's.
Aha, one for The Skylab, i thought. But some hours later i saw her enthusiastically snogging a regular customer, and they were out the door pronto on her first barfine. I think this one's a stayer:

Jen asked me if i'd like to try again. But i told her i was already spoken for. That wasn't true, but i'm not going to let her get away with a fuck-up that easy. I'll play hard to get for a few days.
