An idiot abroad by Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant for comedy.

Check out this Fridays episode!

Karl is going to Australia but they divert him to Thailand - looks like he has a ladyboy encounter (amongst song kran and blindolded muay thai)

For simple low comedy, which i love, "Eastbound and down".
Will Ferrell and his weird friends. Very very funny.

I enjoy the Eastbound and down" series as well. Also was turned onto a similar series out of America called Blue Mountain State.

Just saw Ricky Gervais standup gig called "Fame" Was better than I expected.

Another recent one series I liked was "Angry boys" same guy (Chris Lilley) who played all the charactors on Summer Heights. The mockumentary style and his ability to pull off so many diverse charactors is comedic genius.

Just watched it. Hilarious show. That Mambo cabaret ladyboy looks so familiar . Funny but hardly surprising Karl didn't enjoy songkran, and says men who likes ladyboys are gay 7%20Gay%20Flag.gif

I haven't watched any of the idiot abroad this series (last series was great), I read 2 reviews which weren't great, but I will give it a chance.

I've worked my way through most of Ashes to Ashes series one and loving it.. To the point where I'm looking in Auto Trader for an Audi Quattro.

Just pulled the first series of Luther down off the net- will watch it over the next couple of days whilst I'm away. Found out the other day that the guy who played mcNulty in The Wire was a Brit- best tv i've seen in a long time IMHO.

Just watched the first two episodes- he's a little bit Alpha male at times but I guess its part of the persona. Made a big list of inaccuracies in episode 2 over pedantic military shite but that's just me, lol. Watched The Guard last night with Don Cheadle and brendan Gleeson- made me chuckle in places.

The new Ricky Gervais/Stephen Merchant sitcom is out soon, in the UK at least.

It's called Life's Too Short, and it's another mocumentary following the life of a 'showbiz' dwarf actor. I think Gervais plays a comedy version of himself. Not sure if it will be any good, but they haven't done a bad one yet.

I also read Karl Pilkington has a cameo role, for the Pilkmeister fans out there.

Gervais needs to be careful. Some of his recent stuff hasnt been as good as what we're used to, cept for hosting the Emmy awards were he was brilliant.

I've changed my opinion a bit about 2nd season of An Idiot abroad, it's not as good as first season, they've made Karls complaining too
much, there's no end to his whining and it gets tiresome.
I think they should've stopped after season 1.
Time to move on.
