Luther....very hard hitting drama.

As always, the first series was better than the second though.

I'm not really into cookery shows, although I do like that tasty black bird, former model (Lorraine Pascale) doing her's on Monday evenings BBC2 at the moment

I am on season 4 of Entourage. I find it so funny. Jhonny Drama is such a wonderful character.

The new series of Curb just started on a Sunday night over here too. Required viewing. Larry David is such a superb writer.

The Wire is the best show I have ever seen though. I just wish I didnt watch it all so fast :redcard:

Kliome - I cant believe you like Glee

The wire is one the of the best ever.
It´s predecessor, Homicide: Life on the street , by same author David Simon is even better.

Breaking bad, Six feet under, Sopranos and Dexter are my favorites in drama.

The office, Extras, An idiot abroad by Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant for comedy.

The american The Office is ok, but as always , the original is better.

Michael Scott has left

Will Ferrell was a possible replacement , i heard.

Someone also gave Breaking Bad a shout out, I've pencilled that in as my next.

It´s the current best show, they are in the end of season 4.

For simple low comedy, which i love, "Eastbound and down".
Will Ferrell and his weird friends. Very very funny.

Will Ferrell was in the office as Michael Scotts replacement towards the end of season 7. He did a good job, but he only guest starred for 3 episodes then left.

James Spader and Ed Helms are taking over. Spader is playing the CEO and Helms (from The Hangover) is stepping up to take the branch manager job. I think it will work.

Everyone I know who likes Glee is either female or is the sort of guy that likes shagging men ;-)

severe lack of British TV shows in my recent viewing habits. I did enjoy BBCs recent Sherlock Holmes and Ashes to Ashes but theres been a severe lack of quality british shows, they've been too busy knocking out the usual saturday night gubbins like Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor, Britains Got Talent, Only Way Is Essex....the sort of stuff Gleeks like to watch :harhar:

I enjoy the Eastbound and down" series as well. Also was turned onto a similar series out of America called Blue Mountain State.

Just saw Ricky Gervais standup gig called "Fame" Was better than I expected.

Another recent one series I liked was "Angry boys" same guy (Chris Lilley) who played all the charactors on Summer Heights. The mockumentary style and his ability to pull off so many diverse charactors is comedic genius.

Just watched it. Hilarious show. That Mambo cabaret ladyboy looks so familiar . Funny but hardly surprising Karl didn't enjoy songkran, and says men who likes ladyboys are gay :gayf:

Since starting this thread I've seen the entire LOST series and throroughly enjoyted it, amazing stuff (well up to the end of season 5 at least).

I've also developed 2 new addictions, the American Office - The first season starts off simply remaking the English version, and it's a very poor copy, but once you get into seaosn 2 the characters become their own and it becomes more American (and for once I mean that in a good way :D ) It's a huge shame Michael Scott has left, but I think the cast can contune it without him, for at least one more seaosn and then it might be put to bed.

The other addiction I have is for Glee. I know.. I know.. Leave me alone..

I've also just started watching Life On Mars (the English original, not the US version). It's one of those TV shows I always heard about and knew it would be my thing but never got around to watching it. I finally have and I've watched just about the whole of the first season back to back and already got hold of acopy of Ashes to Ashes. It really is fantastic.

Someone also gave Breaking Bad a shout out, I've pencilled that in as my next.

For me, hands down, no questions, it's "Friday Night Lights". Five seasons, and each season was better than the previous one, right up until the final episode.

BTW, Kliome, I loved both the British and the American "The Office". I love Ricky Gervais, and I find it quite unbelievable that Steve Carell (Michael Scott) never won an Emmy for his role. Nominated 5 times, and lost every one. I also loved "Lost", right up until the final show. That ending sucked. I had an ending idea that would have been perfect, but I won't tell it here since the series is in reruns now, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone. For comedy, try and check out "Modern Family".

Waaaaahhhhhh . I miss my TV.

Actually living the dream.
