Shampoo / Birdie Cage: Open at at 9.00pm / Closes at 5.00am. No Happy Hours for drinks. Quality last night was 0k-ish but not as good as a few months ago. Hope it's not on the slide...

Petesie - These are also typical of the rates for most of the Bars in the immediate area around Burgos St. To be fair this (LB Bar) is something completely new here and there is no competition from any other LB Bars in Manila so they can make it up as they go along. I do think though that long term thay are going have to bring these prices down a bit to be successful.

Kliome - You are right! No LB Bars in other places you mentioned but a reasonable amount of free-lancers and with lower prices to boot. Angeles is cheap full stop!

I'm no Cheap Charlie but those prices seem a trifle on the steep side.....

This may deter your average monger who may look no further than LoS, Vietnam & Cambodia.......

So just out of interest, on average which country is the cheapest to most expensive (1 being cheapest - 5 being most expensive).
And I'm talking about the P4P rates only.
I'd always thought Thailand would be one of the more expensive off that asian subset

Maybe it's simply that I have me sums wrong.....I equated the baht to the peso as they are both pegged to the USD........and of course I asked my PI GF.......hopefully we are both incorrect!

ahh, petesie there's the rub, actually the PI peso is doing worse against the USD, currently it is 46.25 pesos to USD, and 32.81 Baht to USD.

Just following up on Brit's post, I think Thailand would be the cheapest, especially if you took the lower prices of Pattaya and Hat Yai into account. Second would be Indonesia I think. Then maybe Philippines. But the saddest of all - Singapore is the most expensive.
And even if you did a matrix - Thailand would still be tops!

While the Filipinas can be quite beautiful and it's dirt cheap outside Metro Manila (thanks in large part to the abysmal local ruling elite), IMO there's no doubt that LOS wins any matrix analysis.

Never having been there, but as an enthusiastic wanker to latina porn, I used to think that Brazil would be the Holy Grail of ladyboy mongering. But from everything I've read here from guys who've actually gone on the hunt down there it sounds a bit like the Philippines - WITHOUT the English. I think I'm lucky to reside in Asia and within striking distance of Suvarnaburi.

It's the ladyboy bars and party venues that set LOS apart. Nothing like it.

Actually, Singapore's not bad except for the pricing. Orchard Towers is fairly amusing - has a couple of dedicated bars, the talent level is quite high, and I like the multinational flavor. Unfortunately I can't be as carefree there as I never know who I might run into from "normal life".

Then again if not for the pricing Singapore wouldn't attract all that talent, so no complaining Singdick!

In Singapore the only issue I had other than price was it felt more like a financial transacton rather than the Thai 'girlfriend' experience. I felt the LB's were clockwatchers, and didn't do the long time thing, prefering short time and back to make even more money to recover their costs.

Selfish buggers, arn't they.... How dare they watch the clock, they should be head down, arse up and enjoying every minute of it..

I was in Cebu 2 years ago, no LB bars to see at all, a few GG places but not many. It was mostly freelancers and most of them were LB's..

Just a quick update on the Birdie Cage (Bird Cage or whatever): I was in there briefly at the weekend and it was much improved on previous visits. They have a new show - not my kind of thing but there you go - and a tranche of new girls. Saturday night there were probably about 30 girls in the bar and a fair number of punters. Drinks, bar-fines etc all remain the same but overall quality and friendliness of the girls was good. Hope that it continues in this way.

Mind you it was arguably still a bit better at previous location Shampoo when the lovely Cancer 12 (started posting on here now) was working there....

oh thank you dazedanconfused, hehe long name, but still regret we never had a chance to meet up... anyway i was there just last night to have a look, and it was nice, bigger place and i see that there are lots of newies...
i dont work anymore in birdies cage( formerly shampoo), but in case u guys wanna meet up, i am always available.
