I was in Chow Kit a month ago and the quietest I have ever seen it. In the surrounding streets I only found 3 ladyboys, business was so bad the prices seemed to have come down. The police were permanent residents in the carpark by the main activity in Chow Kit. Two of them parked in the open carpark under the trees.

Seems to have pushed the ladyboys far and wide, old talent seemed to be missing from china town but a few new bees there.
