Thanks Petesie - that's kind of you and much appreciated coming as it does from a TR Legendmeister! You are right - the new section is a great idea. It's never going to be the LOS but hopefully more info on the PI on this site will be very useful for all those planning to come over.

I have a bit of updating on Cebu to do as I have been there a few times recently with mixed results. Will add when I get the chance.

thanks for such a detailed description of pi. i feel the phils are much more nice to be around and i need a change, no more bar talk for me in patong, ive spent 3 years in thailand and didnt meet one interesting person i really didnt, my friends there were phils, much like they were in hawaii. thais can be charming but im so bored with the place, the mentality, the greng jai social constructs,, blah blah blah, hey thailands great, but change is great too, i find the bodies of philly women n ladyboys to be absolutely stunning, ill be there soon, u motivated me much more with your report, i like the lack of whoreplexs minus angeles and the fact that u meet people in the streets or clubs or malls, its just more for me-

Yeah D&C, thanks & standing by for your update. I was in Cebu 2008 & met up with a lovely pinay tg who I met online. Spent some time in Ayala as well, I didn't see any more of the island & it was more bothersome to get around since there are only taxis & jeepneys, but I do like the personalities of a lot of the pinays.

I just wish the country wasn't such a dysfunctional basket case in so many ways, a lot of them are desperate to bond & get out.

Hey just returned from my short trip to philippines and was little different from last time i was there. first stop was Manila/Malate area. not much action here at first so if you go be sure to have contacts prior. I did go to MR.Lady club which was no longer there. i stayed in malate and just before I was going to leave and head to angeles city the next day I happened to stumble across some Ladyboy clubs which was good for me and even better was they were only 1 block from my hotel. not sure if anyone has heard if it but its called MR. Woman and was located on Mabini street in malate. Looked like a small club from outside and had some pictures of the lady's out front. also looked like a couble other TS bars next door. Vegas and something else which i cant remeber? But after going inside to my surprise was larger than i thought and had about 35 ladyboys working. So needless to say it all turned out pretty good myself and a couple koreans were the only ones inside. drinks not bad reasonable and you are able to talk to the workers and set up times to meet after work! So even though my trip was short and had some bad weather was a good time all around! will post up some pics and talk about my Angeles trip adventures next time.

Thanks for that update 31state - I had tickets to Manila for the end of Sept and was planning to PM you ahead of time to arrange for a meet-up, but unfortunately work conspired against me and I had to cancel. Glad to see you made it and enjoyed urself. I found Mixed Nuts in Makati to be expensive and a disappointment talent-wise so also good to hear of the increase in dedicated LB bar action there in Manila.

Despite it's reputation as being a bit grottier and some what run down, I was thinking I might stay in Malate next time instead of Makati as the girls tell me Malate is more popular for clubbing - the addition of a few ladyboy bars in the area should tip the scales as far as that decision goes. Where did u stay and would you recommend it to other mongers?

well Malate area is a little more run down, but is deffiently fun place with lotsof bars and clubs with live bands. i stayed in Bayside hotel which i wouldnt really recommend can find alot of nicer places for much cheaper. I also stayed and Diamond hotel which is much nicer and both friendly to guest. but next time will use VRBO and find a nice place in town for a better price without having to deal with Hotels and have more privacy. will get a Condo or House next time. i have used it before on my trip to Boracay, no problems. Sorry about youre trip maybe next time. I will be in Malaysia next month so will give another full report.
