I'm planning a round trip Phillipines/Thailand next year so I'm finding it interesting.

A friend of mine just returned from Boracay with a similar report to yours, said he spent his days lazing around the beach and drinking in bars on the beach and in the evening plenty of girls would be around although not actually attached to the bars like in Thailand.

‘Baclad’ (Filipino for LB or Gay)

Thanks for the report dazedandconfused. I've only been to Manila, AC and Subic. The only LB bar I've been to is Kinky's in Calapandayan (Subic City). It is about half GGs and half LBs. I need to try some of the nicer beach areas you mentioned as opposed to Sewage Bay, OOPs I mean Subic Bay.

BTW I'm under the impression the word is bakla instead of baclad but they both sound similar.

Hi Xyzzy - yup you are right, was typing too fast and not thinking straight. Have never made it to Kinkys as it seems like a long way to go on the off chance of finding something good. If I was in the area though I would drop in. LB's any good there?

Am trying to work out how to copy quotes like you did with mine (ie 'dazedandconfused wrote') on your reply post - how do you do it? Or can someone else explain it to me...

hi guys
i been to phili many times now and am heading back there christmas for 2 weeks.
been to subic and boracay b4 but took a gg with me so not looked at the lb scene in those places.
i going to b in angeles for 2 weeks and there not to many there on the streets some in santos street a little bar named wow with some lbs in there after dark and the salons are your best bet.
this my 1st time there in 2 years and now i been back to los i into lbs now more than ggs so i have been looking into the lb scene more
for the last 2 months i been going on the asian cam models site and 90% of them are based in angeles.
so far i just counted and i have got 76 phone numbers of lbs in angeles so i can go out with my mates and do the gg bars and sort out my lb plans over the phone without searching the streets.
not to many have boobs as they cannot afford them but i have about 15 numbers of lbs with them as i like a nice pair of tits lol.
also going on the cams i get them buzzing me on my yahoo and giving me a free show when someone else is paying
if anyone wants to try ac for a few days u can fly from bkk into clark
angeles for about £140 december time and its ten minutes from airport into town.
i will b in ac dec19-jan 02 if anyone wants to meet up

Essex Boy, like your style with the Web Cam thing. I have never got going on those sites and will be interested to hear how you get on in Angeles City with your pocket full of numbers. Would like to join but if there is only one thing that can be guaranteed here in the Philippines – no one in their right mind is going to knowingly let their partner / husband go off to AC for a few days. So that’s me out unless I can go undercover.

Anyway back to the info on the PI and am near the end of this thing now…..

Cebu

Ok, so Cebu is the Philippines second city and you can reach it on both international and domestic flights. It’s a useful base if you plan on doing some island hopping around the Visayas Islands (some of the best in the PI for beaches, diving, sightseeing etc) and it’s also a great place to visit for a short and dirty break.

First some advice and remember this well, Cebu airport is based on Mactan Island which is separated from Cebu Island by a road bridge. There are lots of Resorts on Mactan Island that fall within the general Cebu location. If you end up staying there you are going to be in a nightlife desert and there is absolutely nada to do. So unless you are bringing one along with you and fancy a romantic break in a family style Resort do not book a stay on Mactan. Instead get a taxi and head into Cebu City proper which is about 30 - 40 mins away from the airport.

Any on-line map of the City will tell you where most of the Hotels are located and you want to be staying in the Lahug, Fuenta Osmena, Gorodo Ave areas. Good hotel recommendations (joiner friendly) in descending order of price are Waterfront City, Parklane, Marriot, Midtown and the Diplomat – last one is great value, ask for a room in the new wing.

Cebu is small enough to easily navigate your way around and if you are staying in any of the above you are within walking distance or a short taxi ride of the many of the best places to check the LB’s. Cebu is also a very friendly city with enough good restaurants and bars to satisfy most folks over a long weekend.

So, where to start? Basically you are going to have to do some hoofing around if you plan on looking for FL’s because there is not much in the way of specific LB bars. Not a problem if you like a bit of a challenge and in my last 3 visits I have not had a problem hooking up with quite a few of them. If you are there over a weekend then late afternoon visits to Shopping Malls can be rewarding. Ayala Centre is certainly the smartest but you should also check out the huge SM Mall which is on the edge of the City. If you are staying in the Midtown you are on top of a Robinsons Mall which often has a fair sprinkling of LB’s hanging around. It’s also a short walk from the Diplomat.

Evenings used to start for me in the bars at the edge of Ayala Mall but they have been doing a lot of reconstruction there recently so am not sure what the situation is. Used to be that a number of LB’s hung out around here but they may have gone / been moved on. Maybe someone else has news on this?

Next stop for a few beers is Sunflower Disco. I like to go here and get lashed before continuing the evening. There used to be quite a few LB’s both inside and outside the Disco but they appear to pretty much gone on recent visits. Still, it’s full of locals and some tourists having a good kind of family time and it’s a fun place to visit. Not many folks on the pull though. After Sunflower you have a number of choices. It’s worth jumping into a taxi and running up to Crossroads (about 10 mins away) which houses some bars and clubs (Vudu or Voodoo and Teatro). There are sometimes some LB’s sitting outside a couple of the bars there and if they are there then they are sure going to catch your eye.

If there is nothing going on at Crossroads then get another taxi and head back towards town and stop off at the Mango Square Entertainment Complex (close to the Diplomat and the Midtown hotels). There are usually quite a few LB freelancers hanging around here – and several of them are great looking. Find your way to Juliana Bar they definitely hang around there, it gets busy from about 1.00am onwards.

Another tip if this fails is to find your way to Pump Disco 1 (there is a 2 inside Mango but its not so popular). Pump 1 is on the ground floor by the Grand Convention Centre. It’s a small noisy club that stays open until about dawn at weekends and attracts a dodgy crowd of students, Koreans, wanna be gangsters, LB’s and sometimes me. This has been my fall back option for a pick up on recent visits and has yet to fail.

The thing about all of the above is that they are all a short taxi journey away from each other so if you get enough alcohol inside you then you can chase around town all night looking for the adventure. On my last visit I cut out some of the chase and arranged a date with a girl from Vicesisters that worked ok. Not great but ok. In fact there are loads of LB’s in Cebu posting on-line so it’s not difficult to meet them and they all seem to look Hot!

And that’s more or less Cebu done – if anyone else has more knowledge then please share.

Final summary about the PI’s is that wherever you go you are more or less bound to meet LB’s - they can be found working in shops, bars, restaurants, resorts, travel agencies, offices, cruising around the streets, shopping, wherever (though perhaps not on fishing boats or in the police force!). Just keep your eyes open for them and they do love a meet if possible.

Last note if you want to check out more of the local Pros then look at some of the obvious places on line (not sure if I’m allowed to mention these here….):

Vicesisters - ignore the first few pages that feature all the superstars that visit places like HK, Taiwan, KL regularly and often seem to ask for top dollar – and get to the pages below where there are dozen of great looking PI LB’s.

I went up to Subic for four days and only made it to Kinky's once (had one lost day where it rained non stop for about 24 hours). There were a couple of lookers and I took one ST. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area. But don't think any of the LBs there had boobs. There might be some other posibilities nearby but I didn't have the time to really check the area. If you search Kinkys on this site you will get a few hits.

essex boy assuming Wow is that little hole in the wall bar on the corner of Santos where you turn to go to Pacific Breeze I have been there a few times. I think it has all of three or four chairs. The smallest bar I have ever seen. That is where I met Regina. Apparently fibert, you and me have all been in the company of Regina which is maybe not recommended! For those curious search her name.

Regina is also a cam girl. I was on her web cam for about five seconds. She just turned the camera on me without telling me and I ran off to the other room.

Thanks xyzzy. I have been messing around with bloody quotes and previews for ages and still can't get the flippin thing right. I'm giving up on it for now.

Kinkys now on my list of to-do's if and when in the area. Am quite happy with the no boobs thing. (to be honest am not unhappy with the boobs thing either).

I will also be heading down to Cebu at some stage in the next couple of months. I'm a great believer in walking the talk so I will re-visit my exact Cebu recommendations on this post (mind you its easy enough because this is pretty much my route every time I hit the city). If I get there before you I'll post an update on the forum.

lol well I'm aware of regine but I have never met her in the biblical sense, she was a friend of a very good friend / gf of mine. Spent quite a bit of time in Angeles and anjoyed it for the most part but it's a bit of a dump really, enjoyed Baguio, Samar and Makati far more but I do love the Philippines. I'm kind of distracted with LOS right now but I'm sure I'll go back there in time. If there was more of an organised LB scene and the girls could afford boobs I'd probably skip LOS but those Thai girls are on the whole just better looking (even though partly through the help of silicone), I am drawn to the more honest, open and less calculating nature of the pinays though.

TY so much for telling us about Shampoo. Like u, I spend most of time in PI (Manila) but never knew Shampoo was an LB bar.

Visited the other night and whilst the girls aren't allowed to wear 2 piece, but dresses instead, its just great to finally have an LB bar in Manila.

It was busy, not sure who owns it but good chance another will open soon. I was always told the police would not allow an LBbar but that obsticle has obviously now been overcome. Guess its posisble the bar owner has to pay more to the police than for running a GG bar but hope not.
