There a good attraction the portable bars round Sukhumvit. had a few whiskeys at them myself and had a chat with a few LBS took a lass from there about 4am one morning in December by the name of Aum i think

Bumped into Cindy from Cascades with her friend Nikki, also Cascades on Khao San Rd last night. She was on her way to see her sister who has a stall there selling bugs. I remember first seeing Cindy doing the same job here 7 years ago, interesting to see how much she has changed in that time.

Great to see that dynamic duo of Cindy and Nikki. They lived with each other for a long time, not sure if they are back together. If they didn't have customers they would always walk down past GB III in route to Soi food. #98 Nikki had left for Carnival Bar next door to Cascade. Not sure if still there or back at Cascade. From the sounds of it she would be out of place with those big fun bags of hers in with all those femboys of Carnivale.

Lovin the BKK street shots BB and I'm a big fan of the late night Sukhumvit bars (Guess Bar II and III) I have heard the road is overwhelmed now with a myriad of mobile bars.

The Geisha bar seems to be keeping its head above water. With so many of the ex La Bamba crew there. it brought back memories of many good night in La Bamba seeing all those familiar faces. I thought it would be fun to put a little collage together of the changing faces of the 2 years it was open. The singers are the Leningrad Cowboys & the Russian Red Army Choir believe it or not, some good clips on Youtube if anyone fancies more from them.

One night I was sitting in Ezy with Donnykey and the subject of what would be the ideal song to have playing while enjoying such an environment came up. DK mentioned for him it would have to be Black singing "Wonderful Life" .

Due to the paranoia that plagues my cruel Chinese overseers, I can't see BB's ladyboy retrospective or indeed any of the youtube clips so many of you post here. But just the mention of that song by Black brings back some fond, if somewhat old, memories - nice call DK.

I'll have to go dig out the cassette when I'm back home tonight.

And of course we'll miss you being there on the ground BB. Hope you make it back soon.
