[Bumblebee]

For any of you guys who are in Bkk between now and 7 Feb. and fancy something different and a break from the LB scene for an hour or so this might be of interest.

In the plaza area in front of Central World on Rachadamri road there is a world music festival entitled "World Music and World Bar-B-Q. There seems to be a good mix of music, and the food stalls are quite reasonable. There is food from a variety of countries, and a load of Thai food stalls also.

I spent a couple of hours there this evening (Wednesday) and it was quite enjoyable. The youngsters in the first pic below are all deaf kids from north Thailand. Great to see them enjoying dancing, the choreographer in front indicated to them the movements and when to make them.

Just thought I would let you know whats happening in central Bkk this weekend.

Bumped into Cindy from Cascades with her friend Nikki, also Cascades on Khao San Rd last night. She was on her way to see her sister who has a stall there selling bugs. I remember first seeing Cindy doing the same job here 7 years ago, interesting to see how much she has changed in that time.

Found myself in the vicinity of Sukhumvit last night. Got there pretty late, managed a last one in Big Dogs to watch the closing time show before hitting the streets. Headed around the corner to the bar that seems to have only LB staff. Knew the names when I was talking to them, but no clue now, sorry guys.

Anyway they are a friendly bunch, no doubt some of you can put names to the faces.

I love those street bars around the corner from Nana.....in some ways more fun then Nana itself.
