Good choice Duke. I have used AA insurance before, and twice had to make a claim. Both claims went through (slowly, but) without problems, and AA paid up as promised.

If I use my credit card to purchase the airfares, the company provides free travel insurance which is a reasonably comprehensive policy.
Now 3.48% smarter, but 14.82% less interesting.

Also, i've recently changed my flat' insurance & a free travel insurance is included (up to one year trip).Rather good!

have to reluctantly agree with the PP here ;-)
a small 125 automatic is plenty in patts, you just need it for swaying in and out of the sometimes static traffic along beach road.
anything bigger than this is just plain silly, trying to sway in and out of traffic in a big 600+ cc not a good idea.
also the roads are not really up to much so doing any sort of high speeds, when there a pot holes all over the place

Thats such a sad story dixon, but riding a motorbike in thailand is a risk within itself :!:
I ride a bike in london, and when im in pattaya, i always rent out a 125cc twist and go, anything bigger than that, and your simply asking for trouble, those thai's havn't got a bloody clue about 'the highway code'
HI, what is the daily rate for renting? Does that come with a helmet?

After reading that, I may want to try a bicycle. Last time I was in Patts I rode on the back of a motorbike with a girl I met in Insomnia. One LB actually offered to show me around the place the next day for just the cost of gas. I did not take her up on it as I thought she may think I was hers for the rest of my stay.
