They big guy pulled a knife, without any other words or gestures made at this time and said in a low voice "dollar"
I was by now afraid so I pulled my wallet out, opened it, showed them the cash, and gently laid it on the ground between us and started to walk backwords from the wallet.
It didn´t seemed to be enough as they quickly surrounded me and I felt a kick to my back. By now I understood that they werent satisfied with my money but probably wanted to take everything (watch - inexpensive, shades - inexpensive, waterbottle - expensive) so I just took of my watch, shades and waterbottle, throw it on the ground and waited.
To make a short story long, they beat the crap out of me, despite that I did try to cooporate.
So traveling can be very dangerous, but so can also be staying home and walking on the street.
Have fun!

Where and when did this happen?
Sounds like an extremely bad experience :|
Have you ever considered the role of counsellor or social worker stevie?yeh
maybe in some shity part of bangkok
certainly no tourist area
You have the patience, tolerance and sensitivity required for such a role
Shall we continue the speculation in the meantime...
Maybe in some shitty part of Phuket?

I'm certain it didn't happen at Hi Boss, the original subject of this thread.
So that said, what does getting mugged in some village in LOS, have to do with Hi Boss?
