Having suggested Aspen Suites to my good friend Slappy, I'm now geared up to giving the place a try next time my travels take me to the Big Mango.
Reservations have been made for this autumn

Very vague, my friend. Do you have any exact dates yet? :?
I don't mind you coming here
And wasting all my time
Cuz when you're standing oh so near
I kinda lose my mind, yeah

Just booked up my room at The Aspen Suites for my trip in Jan after the good recommendations i have seen on here and other sites, will let you all know what i thought of the place and if it was worth changing from the DIG, which is my normal place to stay while in bkk.

I turned up at Aspen Suites on Nov 21st complete with my reservation voucher and deposit paid.
Trouble was, the check in date is Nov 21st 2009
The place was fully booked due to a convention so accomodation was found close by.
Gonna have another go and staying there during the New Years Festival in Bangkok

Stayed in the Aspen suites for a few days before xmas and over New Year. Would definitely reccomend it, great rooms and good service.
Got a deluxe suite for £40.

LB friendly and close to the action!!

Thanks for the recommendation Slappy.

Stayed there recently myself and although I do like the room layout, nice comfortable bed, loads of space and a handy kitchen area. The location is a bit of a trek down the very quiet, stray dog infested Soi 2  Especially with a lady boy in high heals at 3.00am

I'm based at Aspen Suites right now. It is a small 5 minute walk. Not really that bad. I've stayed at Omni Towers before and that seems a bit further.

Almost all the reviews for this place I found online were positive.

I've just booked the Deluxe Suite for a week for my first visit to LOS in June.
Now 3.48% smarter, but 14.82% less interesting.
