I'm off to LOS in 37 days for two weeks, including a trip to CM for a few days. Any BMs gonna be around in CM on 5/11 - 8/11 and fancy a beer, let me know.

Thanks for the infos Nemrod!

I will be back in Chiang Mai in November. It was always fun to walk along loi kroh road after midnight to see whats on offer. Last time i paid 700 Baht for ST with a cute Femboy.

Usually i dont use ST-hotels, i prefer to go to my own hong. But good to know where some decent ST-hotels are, just in case!

Just returned from Chiang Mai a few days ago, and found the ladyboy scene had generally continued to prosper.

In the Chiang Mai Entertainment Centre on Loi Kroh Road, you will find ladyboys at Marina Bar, Wooden Bar & The Shamrock Pub.

If you are sitting at Wooden Bar, and look out towards the street, you will see a Restaurant / Bar called Zest which has around four ladyboys working.

The street scene on Loi Kroh Road and beyond is also still going, although did seem a little more sparse whilst I was there.

Have alot of photos to post shortly.

Cheers

Koykaeng, who is the ladyboy in your last photo, on right, with leopard dress? I forget her name but remember meeting her in Hua Hin this year when she was on holiday.

When I first met her she was calling herself "Torn", however more recently she was using the name "Coco". She speaks very good English actually and is alot of fun to chat with whilst at Marina Bar.

Cheers

I had the pleasure of Coco's company last week. She does not work full time at Marina, but said she was helping out for Songkran.
She actually looks better than the 2 year old photo and amazed me when she said she was 38 years old

As KK said great fun and a lovely person.
When I were a lad we had the one thing that money can't buy....poverty

she probably does what I do and tell people I'm older than I am, then they tell you you look good for your age
Black out the windows, it's party time.

Hi all. Just returned from ladyboy mongering in Chiang Mai. I visited Shamrock (virtually empty, nothing happening), Woody’s (one or two ladyboys, didn’t even noticed any interest from their side) and ended up in Marina Bar near Thai Boxing ring. There were a few ladyboys some even lookers by Nana standard. I finally ended up with a nice ladyboy (femboy to be exact) named Water. After few connect-four games (no ladyboy ever beat me in this game jet 8) ) we ended up in her loom. She really tried to give something for the bucks paid so all and all I’m satisfied.

General impression of Chiang Mai is … … there are more GG and LB bars on Loi Kroh Road and Sois near to this road than Nana and Patpong combined, not to mention freelancers (some LB-s are hot hot hot 8) ) near canal. I really thought Chiang Mai was more like wannabe-poor-rucksack-students town not the mongering capital of northern Thailand.

I was there only a couple of weeks ago, however my impressions weren't quite the same, and I've been visiting Chiang Mai for many years.

I think your remark about the number & quality of both LB's & GG's is way off the mark, but we are all entitled to our opinion.

Thanks for the report.

I know I know, maybe I'm overreacting. :) But believe me, two days ago I've been all over Nana (LB & GG bars) with my LB GF who introduced me to her friends few days ago Patpong was checked, and I wasn't impressed at all, more over here I really found out some real cuties. To bad I couldn't take picture of LB in front of ATM on beginning of Night Market... but today is another day. 8) Anyway I'm impressed about quantity and quality.

As usual you were right koykaeng. Today I did few circles around Chiang Mai and I found no ladyboy whatsoever. Maybe I lost all hop to early or.. I don't know. I ended up in GG bar and after one hour almost did the unthinkable, I almost barfined GG. But to my defense she was extremely nice and fun to be with. More in my report when I finish my Tour of Duty, for now I can only post her picture.

p.s.
I person she looked 100% better, god how I hate when girls are covered all over with baby powder; they look like s.... on pictures.

Yea, I hate this problem too. Partly the girl's fault for wearing too much powder (she deserves a spanking!!!) but also your camera's fault. I've been playing around with photoshop CS4 and applied a warming filter with the results attached - you think this helps?

I did a report on CM a few months back. I found it to be a small scene but quite laid back and low pressure compared to BKK, Pattaya, Phuket, etc.

It may take me a little while, but within the next few weeks I shall update this thread with some more photos & commentary.

Just in the middle of my trip report, but I'll definitely post all the relevant information I have when time permits.

Regarding the "white faces", the best advice I can give you is to try getting a little further back from your subject, although its a balancing act as if you are too far back in low light situations, the flash struggles to light the subject sufficiently.
