the "Garden Restaurant" offers about six guest-rooms at the backyard well worth the price, with a nice planted restaurant.
you get your own room and front-door key, so there´s no control whoever you gona bring with you.
it is on Loi Kroh road on the left side coming from the center just a few steps away from C.M. entertainment complex.
as it is more on the basic side you shouldnt have high expectations on the rooms but aircon, fridge, TV - everything there and also quite clean.

I've just returned from a LB free week in Chiang Mai, the wife is very suspisios these days and tends to stick close.
I doubt if Porn Ping has changed it's policy. It was certainly LB friendly a couple of years ago.
Another big hotel that is LB friendly is Centara Duangtawan, in Loi Kroh Road.
Check internet rates usually on offer at less than 1500THB

the VIP Guesthouse, soi1, Rachadamnern, has rooms starting at 160 Thb.
More for aircon, obviously. Very LB friendly - nobody on reception late at night anyway.

Spend the money properly, on girls & drink & food.

We had a week in Bali, before Chiang Mai. I had found a massage place that seemed to have at least a couple of LB's on staff. Wife finds a girly spa place, so I said I thought I'd get a massage at a place down the street. A few hours later she says I hope it's not the one near the corner, I just had a foot massage, the place is scruffy and run by Ladyboys....Couldn't tell her that's just how I like em!
Anyway she's off to the UK in July, I have a couple of free weeks in Melbourne, could even manage a BM get together. Then 3 days in Pattaya before going to China for a few days. Then back to LOS for 2 days in Chiang Mai before Mrs Patrick arrives.
Fridgemagnet, I've done my share of them cheap Guest houses, but these days my visits are short so I can afford a better room without diluting my play money

Just took a stroll in the boxing bar complex, and Wood Bar is no longer. Now some girl's name on it. Though I did see one LB sitting at the bar; not one I recognized. Anyone know what happened to this place and the girls that were there?
It was early and the whole complex was quite dead, but maybe that's a sign of the times in the aftermath; I didn't have time to stick around and do a proper survey. Maybe soon!

I am going CM this month, I'd like to know if the Pornping hotel is still lb friendly?
Any other ideas where to stay, have some of the other hotels mentioned by OP proven to be lb friendly?

A late reply but for general info..................

I find the Pornping to be rather drab and depressing. At that price point I far prefer the Raming Lodge. Much nicer rooms, better location and a friendlier staff. Both hotels have cool names though.

At the Raming, the primary difference between the Superior and Deluxe rooms are the extras. The Deluxe has free airport transfers, free wifi, and free minibar.

Either room comes with free brekkie but not very tasty so I was sticking with toads and coffee.

Agoda often has a good price for this hotel, but I recommend emailing hotels directly and asking about joiner policies and have it in writing before I book though third party sites.

Sorry to report that Suk Sabai is no longer open (it was on Sri Donchai BTW). Unfortunately Tou the LB owner of the business could no longer make a go of it. I tracked her down in January, dhe was freelancing opposite the top of Loi Kroh Rd, naturally we had a couple of sessions for old time sake, but now she is back home in Nan after making enough from her freelancing to start a small hairdressing period.
I did ask her if there were any more LB massuers in CNX, she didn't know of any, but introduced me to a friend who proved happy to play at massage for 5 minutes before fucking me
I'll be back in town for a couple of days next month before the wife joins me, I will explore!

I've stayed at both Pornping and Raming lodge and thought they were both OK, but I actually prefer the Centara Duangtawan, I've stayed there 4 times and each time they have upgraded rhe room, maybe that's why I like it
