I'm not going to Pattaya for Vacation, it's all research and selfdiscovery.

Do you have somewhere booked?
If not how much are you looking to spend.
Maybe you can join Anthony at HOWARDS!

There seems to have been some improvements in the Jasmine since July , I was able to get my Laundry done there and I think the house keeping has improved . I just wish they would put some Safes in the rooms now. It just seemd nicer not sure why really.

* Depart London Heathrow on 31st March thru to 30th May
Direct with Thai Airways for £564 inc. CC fees etc.
There are still a few good sub £600 deals out there, I booked again thru www.opodo.co.uk
I've had my jabs (last time 10 years ago) and the visa is in the post
First few days in BKK then down to Pattaya
I haven't arranged hotels as yet, do rooms get hard to come by in Pattaya around Songkran?

I can recommend the LK Pavillion, whihc is where I'll be staying. Very good monthly rates.
It's a bit out of the way, but if you don't mind a little walk or have a moped it's no issue.

I'm considering the Sandy Spring Hotel on soi 13 (as recommended by Aquarii on another thread), maybe stay there a few days or so and see how the land lies - www.sandyspringhotel.com
I like a 'pissing distance from the action' location, preferably on one of the sois between Beach Road and 2nd Road so that transport by way of baht bus is a piece of cake.
I still can't fathom why this place excites me the way it does after all these years, well ok, maybe I can
Can't bloody wait
