as ive never been to pattaya, i can rec phuket.

You have no idea what you are missing out on.

The ladyboy scene in Pattaya, particularly in the last year or two leaves Phuket's for dead.

Having said that, Phuket is a much better location for those that like the beach, as Pattaya's beaches are pretty horrible for swimming.

In terms of pricing, Pattaya is miles cheaper for just about everything.

Phuket is the most over commercialised location in all of Thailand.

Good on ya mate. Dont see why travelling with a LB would be different from travelling with a BG. They both take care of ya very well and cost you some dosh lol

If she is a bargirl, you can negotiate the price - just be very clear about it before hand. Some like the idea of a holiday and may be happy with less than their usual long time fee x "X" days you are with her. However, remember that many bars will still charge her the bar fine for the days she is not at work - so factor that into your negotiations. So if the barfine is 500 Baht per day, she has to pay that while she is with you.

as ive never been to pattaya, i can rec phuket. patong beach is great and theres plenty of lb action. and the quality is great i dont care what others think so not shy about been seen on beach with last nights play thing.

you can only drink and screw so much on a two week holiday so phuket just right. And i think it all depends on your approach and how you speak with the beauties on how much you pay. treat them well and your rewards are memoriable.

one day i will go pattaya but my first choice is patong on phuket.

it is YOUR RIGHT to choose where to stay.
but i think it is not correct to conclude something about places without being there.
at first, you must visit Pattaya in order to compare it with Phuket.
maybe u will see amazingly different environment in Pattaya and put it above Phuket.
i was on Patong beach, Bangla road, visited some LBs bars, talk with different ones on a road, but i wasnt impressed.
so maybe it is not ur last choice. we shall wait for your opinion after trip to Pattaya.

i totally agree with you, man.
Phuket has very beautiful beaches, water, big waves enough to do surfing. this week it has beautiful weather.
Phuket is good place to have vacation with swimming and maybe some LBs, nightlife like in Pattaya.
u r right, it is over commercialised. and everybody in Phuket will agree with you, it is expensive place to stay and have fun.
i even couldnt enter disco. to my surprise they charged 240-300 baht for entrance. not like discos on Walking street in PTT.
and maybe i am very greedy or stingy, but in Phuket everywhere they ask for tips, in massage salons, bars, shops. in PTT, imho, it is not so suppressing.

Thanks , I dont want to seem ungentlemanly so will drop the hint about the discount first . I had supposed I'd have to front up to the bar and pay the Barfine for the week but that should not be a problem.

Pattaya has many pitfalls as well, but unlike Phuket it doesnt get boring after a week. Just my 2 cents

choosing out of the two destinations u mentioned,
pattaya is definately better for LBs...

- Phuket is an over-advertised holiday destination full of fat white western women who turn your stomach, with some LB action on the side.

- Pattaya is a whore-mongerers paradise with LB's galore where your Baht goes further, focusing on the nightlife instead of beaches and stuff. Although there is stuff to do in the daytimes if you wake up in time or can be bothered.

Everyone should try both to make up their own minds, but I'd love to hear some solid reasons why Phuket would come out on top for those that have been to both. I love Bangkok too and always like to spend a fair amount of time there also.

I visit Phuket for my holiday, have a few drinks, catch up with mates, eat my self sensless , have a few ST's at Tootsies and then I get down to business. I hop to Pattaya and usually stay for a few weeks and fuck my self into obvivlion.

I rent a condo for 8000 baht for a month at Cosy Beach ( a one room safe place) and comute down the hill to sin city for my take outs.

Some guys like to be right in the thick of it but i prefer it my way.

Hands down Pattaya wins for mongering, drinking and self indulgence. :twisted:

In my mind Bk IS OVER RATED, OVER PRICED and a bit boaring.
I know a lot of you guys rave about the Guess bar, but trust me there are far better places and better girls then this place.

I admit its great for guys who want every thing layed on and don't want to stray too far but if you have an adventourous bone in your body, stretch your self and go hunting and have a ball.

For newbies, Guess is good value and good fun, no doubt about it but there is more to ladyboy hunting then Guess.

Don't always take as gospal what you read and what you hear, try for your self and you will be rewarded.

Guys like Stoogie Bear has his own agenda and most of what he says these days is out dated and twisted as he gets commision form bars who want his business. ( he doesn't resile from this truth, in fact he boasts about it)MAKE YOUR OWN ADGENDA AND YOU WILL COME OUT WAY ON TOP.

I have been coming to LOS since 1978 and I do business here. There ain't a better place if you are into LBS.

A few rave about the Philipines but the girls there are very savy and very hungry for your dough. :evil:

But it cracks me up when I read self appointed "guards of the gates" anoint there opinions. I guess its my turn to become a guard

In my opinion this board is becoming the number one board as it allows free speach and free opinion. The other main board is now nothing more then a money making machine for a few guys who allow no opinions other then there own to exsist. It will be interesting to see how this board shapes up.
