I have a ladyboy wife, so am not participating in the p4p scene as such any more, but it seems sad to me that prices are pushed up by people who pay well over the odds.
Many folk were angry about the Thai governments' double pricing for national parks etc., but to see people doing the same to themselves....
Still... whatever floats your boat.

some say I maybe cheap but the girls are happy as they get few drinks and fun in the bar before hand. Don't think I've ever walked in took a girl had my way and left, I like the fun before in the bar as much as the deed after the bar. Don't be shy in the bar, it reflects on the loom business

There's no skill involved in spending money, any idiot can do that 
I spend nowhere near what you guys do, but I'm never without company unless I want to be, and I do everything I want to do when I'm in LOS.
There's no need to be a loads-a-money 2 week millionaire to have a great time in LOS, the girls don't respect you for throwing money around, they just think you're a mug and they fill their boots while they can.

I don't like larger or thai whiskey or that san song stuff, so my drunk is imported & around 180b a bottle 10 x this + and lady drinks makes good night in any bar for me. Then girl for evening you won't get much out of 10k,
it's not about throwing it around, everyones taste is different and I'm not gonna sit there drinking 40b beer because it's cheap. I like to enjoy my drink.

I'd agree with what Dixon says, but at the same time contradict that. I don't think people go to Pattaya looking for respect

As DM might say, you can't take it with you. Spunking 10k a day on beer and gogo dancers is better than spending it on supporting a wife and kids (IMO!).
Most girls probably won't resepct you for throwing money about, but then they probably won't respect you for keeping it in your pocket either - the hooker customer relationships are what they are. If nothing else, you'll keep the bar owners smiling at you!
Have a good time and spend what you want (and can afford) and turn the Thai sim off at the end of the holiday!

As I said before even in Bangkok or Phuket being in »right« company can substantially lower your spending without you having bad time. Do I feel anything worse than before when on my first trip with Lisa I easily spent 15k BHT a day for luxury suite, good restaurant and Nana lady drinks.. No, I enjoyed my last day in Bangkok much more, we were at home, eating cheap Mama soup from plastic cup with fish fingers from microwave listening Isaan music... and had a blast... while my ex had to dance the night away on Voodoo pole...
And KK was more than right; instead of throwing money away for fancy food/drinks I rather bought some stuff to X that she couldn’t sell for Yaba but greatly improved her life…

Spot on! I don't see the point of overspending, when you can save the money to have more girls or come for longer next time (no pun intended).
The average monthly wage in Thailand must be a lower than what a working girl makes in a day, therefore with that in perspective I think the average mentioned is more than fair, but if people wanna tip then fine, but then if you overpay too much it will make the prices go up for everyone and we already have a bad exchange rate!

i agree with ct, i like magners, and smirnoff vodka, i can only drink maybe a few beers then it bags me up, and if you compare the prices of magners to say o chang beer, or a measure of smirnoff to a thai whisky, i am going to spend considerably more than some guys, however i do pay the going rate for the p4ps and would never pay over the odds, FFS i am a fifer just ask SLT or petesie what fifers are famous for

I now throw my Thai sim card in the bin at the airport when leaving.
Six months down the line get a new one for next to nothing.

A session with a Chinese TS will set you back anywhere from the local equivalent of THB 2500 - 4000. The Filipina gastarbeiter will aim for 10K and upwards but can usually be had for 5 or 6K.
