Perhaps food hygiene isn't at the top of the list in Cambodia, but what you can't see won't hurt you. If you have doubts about a piece of meat you can always pick it up and examine it.

One think I particularly like about Cambodia, in food terms, is the readily available supply of decent bread in the form of a baguette and also beef. Both of which I miss in Thailand, especially the bread. That 'sweetened' Thai bread is awful. I eat at least one baguette a day here, thanks to the French.
