I was in Bangkok 2 weeks ago. I should have taken the cute ladyboy from cockatoo / soi cowboy. She said: I want yuuuuuu. I declined. My bad. Went to Nana instead. Can't remember which bar but there was this busty brunette I could not say no. Big mistake. Honestly I don't remember a name or the place I barfined her from. We went to a shorttime room at Nana Plaza. Half way in she received a message while sucking me harder. She asked if her friend can join. I said sure. Girl came in. All good. Wouldn't let me fuck her. Said she had to go back to work asked for 1000 upfront which I paid half drunk and pants down. After she left suddenly the bird pretended to be in pain while I tried to fuck her ass. Total spoiler. I let her get the fuck out of the room cos I smelled they were trying it on me. She even asked for a tip cos her friend got 1000 for a little bit of sucking. I didn't kick up a fuzz, cleaned up and took a regular girl which was fine for the rest of the night. Just beware. Don't let them trick you into things you didn't plan or cannot control.

I agree, nowadays Nana is like a con job, too much easy money from the mainlanders, don't bother to service . I went there was pressured into drinks. I prefer patpong now, much more relax and the Gg and lbs there much nicer.

Lupa is a good choice- they make all the salumis on the premises, and its not going to give you the sticker shock that Babbo would.

You have to go with your gut feeling and call things to a halt if you get that feeling things aren't right. I guess it's easier said than done when you are midway through getting blown.

In general 3somes are rarely a good choice when not planned and in a dodgy short time room. I find most Thais have a conscience and don't want to rip someone off, but there are the occassional bad eggs, and you ususally get a feeling something isn't right pretty soon. When you are with one person you can at least keep a handle on what's going on, but when there are two it's a different story.

Nana used to be a great place to pick up bar girls and freelancers but these stories seem more common than before and you have to be more picky. As long as you don't pay in advance, you can always cut the experience short and offer a reduced compensation, and just walk away. You have to be firm but fair, as soon as you show weakness and are easy to hand over money, you are then prey.

I have actually found that having a drink or five at one of the outdoor bars along Sukhumvit anytime after 1 am is a good way screen prospects. Do they still have those mini-bars/food stands since covid?

I haven't been to Bangkok since early Feb, but the late night pop up bars on Sukhumvit were nowhere to be seen.

The heart of the action then was around beer bar complex on SUkhumvit 7 (next to the old Beer Garden), this place was rocking every night and a great throwback to happier times. But on the stroke of 11pm everything shut. Hopefully these bars will be back once the drinking curfew is removed.

LB wise, there were 3 venues worth checking out: Jersey Pub, Chaos 9, and Why not. All on soi 4 within 100 meterss of each other.

I guess that i was dem lucky with my intercourses overthere (between 2013/2016 in diferent times & dates due my former job); i had no mistakes with the combination of LINE Messenger app & thaifriendly website.

Even on my personal hunting, i managed to follow my instincts (like @Moderators said), holding a bit on drinking... i never was a demanding farang but also i didn't take "whatever came ahead of me", but those bar girls were "too professional" to me, so i did freelancers mostly .

In my 18 years in Thailand I've been scammed/robber twice* by ladyboys.

Once was when a ladyboy stole a pair of sunglasses. I left them by the door and when she left I noticed they were gone. They weren't a brand name, but they were prescription, so probably useless to the ladyboy. I did ask her about them and she claimed to have no idea what I was talking about - I'm about 90% sure I left them by the door.

The other time was in the early years. I had a threesome in Bangkok and while playing in the shower one left the bathroom early. When I went to pay them, my wallet (which was "hidden" in my jeans, which were under other clothes)  was empty. The other ladyboy had obviously taken it as when I told them I'd lost my money they said it was OK and they were happy to leave, I could pay them next time I saw them..

The amount I had in the wallet was 3.000, and I was planning to give it all to them. I pretended I was upset as I would never go without paying anyone, so for 15 minutes they helped me look around the room. While we were looking I said I had no money left and I needed to get a taxi in the morning. The pair started to talk in Thai and the sweeter one seemed annoyed that the other had stolen them money. Suddenly, one of them 'found' 1,000 baht under the bed (the same bed we'd looked under twice already). They then said I didn't need to pay them and they were sorry I had 'lost' my money.

So I ended up 1,000 baht up. I saw one of them on the next night on Sukhumvit Road, and we exchanged a glance which told me she knew I knew she knew...

*Doesn't include the times I was robbed, cheated, or overcharged while drunk and oblivious.

Since 2017 I have only had two lbs steal from me. One was in massage place in Hua Hin (stole 2000 baht cash out of my wallet) and the other was in Jaco, Costa Rica (stole my CC out of my wallet in my pants then charged $1500 worth of clothes on my cc which they immediately flagged and I got my money back).

Costa Rica, nice; i've been in Puntarenas (dark sand beaches, great local food)... seems like those latin places demands a lot of attention... Equador (Manta) & Panamá (Colón) were fun but scary to me (& unfortunately, by been brazilian, i should be used with this kind of scenarios)...

Never been scammed/robbed in Thailand. I had an incident in Manila, which i Described here https://ladyboyforum...ies/?hl=manila

That was mainly due to me being too drunk and not aware.

I was subject to a scam once in Kuala Lumpur, but with a GG. We had some drinks together and she was speaking very good English, and spoke about her good job - she also paid for her own drinks, so it seemed like a regular hook up. The bar closed and she asked if we should go to my hotel or her's to get some more drinks, as she was here on business (she had an extremely convincing story and seemed very legit). We went to my hotel as it was closer.

Once in the hotel, we ordered a couple beers from room service and there was a great atmosphere and we were talking about all sorts of subjects (no touching or anything at this point - just having a good talk and laugh).

Suddenly she changed 180 degrees and started screaming and yelling and crying. I tried to calm her down, but she wouldn't have it, and suddenly said she would only leave my room if I paid her 1000 MYR. I said that wasn't gonna happen. She then said if I tried to force her out of my room, she would hurt herself and call the police and say that i hurt her.

I then had enough of her games, so I called hotel security (I stayed in a big 4 star hotel). Security came to the room, but she refused to go with them. Still screaming and yelling and going crazy. She smashed a beer bottle on the floor in front of security, so in the end they called the police. Police came and arrested her. They checked her ID, and they told me they had previous history with her. They didn't bother to ask me any questions, they just handcuffed her and took her away.

30 min later I get a call on the room phone in the hotel. Some guy identifies himself as Bison or something like that. he says he knows the police have just been to my room. I ask him if he is from the police. He says no. He then says, that I did very wrong in getting his girl arrested and if I didn't leave Malaysia within 24 hrs, I would be in big trouble. I told him that he should just f.ck off and that he found the wrong person to scam, and then i called him some nasty words and hung up.

I then went down to reception and said what happened, but they had not transferred any calls to my room, so he must have known the room number to call straight. Reception was very helpful and asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I said no need to. I stayed another 3 days and nothing happened, so bottom line is that it is very important not to give into these scams.

With all that said, then I always feel very safe in Asia - much safer than in Europe and the U.S. Will be heading to Thailand next month, but no mongering as I will be with my special ladyboy girlfriend the whole time :-)
