You can post them if you want (dare). I got impression that girls didn't want their pics anywhere else than just The House Facebook and i don't want to take risk that they get upset. That's why i didn't even post them on my own FB. But if you are ready to take risk, you can post them here.

Facebook is strange place where strange people spread they (mostly useless) information. I'm one of them and guilty as charged. Sometimes i get messages from horny guys who like my pics and think that it's actually me. First i try to explain that they are wrong, and i only take those pics. If this is enough, then good but sometimes they are so blinded that they don't believe. In left corner there is my watermark and my name, so it must be me in pic, right? Common thing with these guys are that they all speak (write) very bad english. I wonder don't they have digital cameras in their countries and therefore concept of watermarking pic is uncommon for them. Well, i never find out because there is only one thing to do, block them for good.

 

It finally happened. Couple days ago some guy send message for Sonya in Facebook, "you look so beautiful, can we meet?". Sonya was laying in bed next to me and she immediately handed her phone to me. It was juicy situation, guy was in my Facebook friend list (not Sonya's) and he has seen her pics in my photolist and now he tried his luck. Bad thing for him was that it was me who spoke with him. He tried to ask how often me and Sonya saw and he was coming to Pattaya soon so could we meet. I told him that i'm happy with my boyfriend and don't want to meet other men. Guy was polite but didn't give up, until i send him message from my own Facebook. It must be quite embarrassing situation to realize that he was talking with me, not Sonya. He tried to explain that he didn't know about me, hard to believe because he got all his information about Sonya from my FB. Anyway i just wished happy hunting and blocked him. Sometimes life is a bitch.

 

 

Motorbike

 

I'm trying to decide if i want to buy motorbike or not. It surely makes life much, much easier but there is some risks involved and that's why i still hesitate. I don't have problems with driving itself, but left side traffic + fact that i'm probably only one who obey rules will causes troubles. Couple days ago i took Sonya's scooter first time and went to shop alone, all went well and i'm still in one piece. However i've got remind that it's never safe when yesterday Sonya hit guy front of us with our front wheel. Luckily speed was so slow that nothing happened, he just turn his head, said something and then continue driving. I also saw my first motorbike accident for long time when one bike fell in crossroad. There was three people on it, and they did quite a nice circus like roll on tarmac. None of them had helmet, but again luckily speed was jogging level so they just stand up and take their bike and left. Lesson for readers, NEVER ride the bike without proper helmet. NEVER. 

 

Anyway, i still feel brave enough to look second hand Honda PCX 150. If anyone know any website or shop in Pattaya where they sell used bikes, please inform me. Much appreciate.

Internet

 

It seems that we were lucky in Finland and i got used for cheap and reliably internet. I had limitless 4G in pricetag of 800THB/month. Unfortunately it seems that Thailand can't beat that, so now i'm using TrueMove internet connection with limitless edge and 1Gb 3G package in price 450THB/month. What you guys use, is there any better choices?

Internet can be a nightmare in Thailand, if you are lucky you can get pretty fast internet but which provider to choose often seems to depend on your area, or even your building, so it's best to speak to the building manager or reception, or even your neighbours.

 

Dealing with the internet providers can be a testing experience. In Bangkok I used True and constantly had problem, especially when trying to contact customer services. But I've heard complaints about most of the service providers here.

 

I get my internet included in my room now and the landlord sorts out all problems, but if I had to arrange it myself I'd probably give 3BB a try next, they seem to get the best reviews (for customer service at least).

I have question for guys who own bigger than 150cc bike here. I've made some research and there are couple models what interest me. Now Honda PCX 150cc seem nice choice, but after driving our 125cc Honda Click with two people on, i start to wonder if it's enough for us. I don't expect scooter have same power than new Suzuki GSX-R, but if acceleration is measured with calendar instead of clock, then maybe it's time to look little bit more powerful machine. I have never tried PCX 150, but i'm also looking scooters like Honda Forza (300cc), Suzuki Burgman (200cc) or Yamaha TMAX (500cc). Anyone have experience with these, even if you rent one in your holiday? How about insurance, how much costs insurance for bigger bike? 

 

Please if you have any information to share, now it's time to do it...

I'm looking at some bigger bikes at the moment, around the 250 mark, I'll let you know what I discover. Most of the new bikes will help you do all the registration and include up to 3 years insurance in the price.
